I’ve been using Plax for a very long time. I’ve tried others when this was out of stock, but I always come back to this.It claims to remove more plaque than brushing alone, and it does. After rinsing, my mouth feels fresh, with that slippery, smooth finish you only get after a professional cleaning.Unlike some strong antiseptic rinses, this one has a pleasant soft mint flavor that doesn’t burn or irritate. It’s noticeable yet mild, leaving my mouth feels clean, not numb.It’s part of my routine I never skip.

Dental hygienist here. Been using Plax personally and professionally for over twenty years and will enthusiastically vouch for it. If used correctly - rinsing 30 sec. before brushing teeth - it works great. I’ve recommended it to oodles of patients with heavy plaque and tartar buildup and, time and time again, I’ve seen significant improvements in their oral hygiene. Use this every time before brushing teeth, or at least in the morning, add a tongue scraper to your routine and your mouth, your breath and especially your teeth will thank you.

Outstanding product. For years I struggled with plaque and tartar. I decided to try Plax what can I lose. Well let me tell after the first bottle I have no tartar or plaque on any of my teeth it is a miracle! I use it as prescribed twice daily, 30 seconds before I brush my teeth in the morning and before bed. It has a pleasant taste with no alcohol burning. And it leaves a smooth feeling on my teeth, and the more you use it the better it gets. I highly recommend this product.

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. I bought it on a whim because the price was lower than other mouthwashes. I figured it’d be like any other mouthwash, but I was completely wrong!! PLAX is now my absolute favorite step in my teeth cleaning routine. It’s meant to be used before brushing, which felt weird at first but now I don’t think I could go back to the old way now.There’s something about it that actually makes my mouth feel clean, not just like I swished around some minty alcohol. After brushing, everything feels smoother, fresher, and like it actually worked better because of that first rinse. I’ve never had that with other mouthwashes, which usually just sting and dry my mouth out.The mint is gentle and not harsh at all. It’s also not trying too hard with gimmicks. It just quietly does its job and actually changes how your mouth feels, but not in the way that leaves it tasting funky for hours afterward. Like, genuinely cleaner. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular mouthwash.

This does work well but you have to use it consistently otherwise you're just wasting money.

I ordered this in April after my last dental cleaning. I am still on the first bottle. I use it around 4 to 6 times a week. I just went in for my 3 month cleaning and my gum scores improved and/or maintained. A lot more 1s than last time. My one 4 turned into a 3. Lots of 3s moved up to 2s. This is the only addition I have made to my routine. The best part was there was barely any plaque build up at all. The student hygienist did not detect any, but the professor said they was a small amount on my rear teeth. This was the fasting cleaning I have ever had. Can't wait to see the improvement that comes with more consistent use. This stuff is awesome!!!!I added this to an already revised routine to improve my gum health. I had already seen improvement over the last 2 yrs but had hit a plateau. My routine includes these additions 1) Extra soft manual toothbrush (Oral B). 2.)Therabreath Gum Mouthwash 3). Peradontax or Crest Gum Detoxify Toothpaste. 4.) I don't rinse after brushing. Just spit the Toothpaste out and use Mouthwash 20 mins later. 5.) Waterflossing a few times a week. Regular flossing daily. With that alone I eliminated scores of 4s, 5s and a couple of 6s that were mixed in with 3s, 2s and 1s. But I want all 2s and 1s and no scaling at the appointment. Plax is helping me get there. Both the student hygentist and the Professor were very impressed with the health of my mouth! Five Stars

I can’t find this product in any local stores so I tried Amazon and they had it! Great pre brushing solution for fighting plaque buildup. I say to use. Mint flavor and it doesn’t burn my mouth. Highly recommend.
