Installed it today on a 15 Ft. high vaulted ceiling. First of all the instructions are less than stellar and it took me 3 hours to get it installed. It took extra time due to the height and maneuvering the ladder but overall installation is not difficult. If you do not have a very high ceiling then it should be done in 1-2 hours.Fan selection - The reason we chose this fan is that we have a large living room and only fan box in the ceiling. So, we wanted to have the biggest fan which moves a lot of air and looks good as well. That is why we selected this in spite of the poor ratings on Lowe's website. Although Harbor Breeze is a Lowe's owned brand but we bought it from Amazon as surprisingly it had a lower price. Additional parts can be bought from Lowe's , we needed a 48" down rod and an angle mount which we got from Lowe's. The fan comes with an angle mount which is for slightly angled slopes and did not work for us we have a much steeper slope.Installation - The down rod and the angle mount we got from Lowe's had an issue. The screw from angle mount did not fit the down rod and I had to find another screw to hold the assembly that fits into the down rod and holds fan into mounting bracket. I did not use the small down rod that came with the fan or even try to use the mount and canopy that came with the fan. Angle mount from Lowe's comes with its own canopy and the color of the 'aged bronze' down rod and angled mount matched the color of the fan pretty well. Other than the minor issue of screw size mismatch, installation went fine.Impression so far - I have used it for 4 hours so far and tried different settings. It works fine at speeds 1,4 5 and 6 but wobbles and makes clicking sound at speeds 2 and 3. Remote has too many options and is an acquired taste. With some patience you will get used to it. The surprising feature is that if you hold the 'light' button, it dims the light. Overall the light is not so bright but we did not but it to read anyways. But this feature is not mentioned in item description or instruction manual.Pros -1. Looks good and reversible speed using remote is a very cool feature. Slide the button and it reverse the motion.2. When it does not wobble, it is actually a very quiet fan and throws a lot of air. Its a windmill.3. Easy to install and unless you need steep angle mount, box has pretty much everything you need to install it.4. Well priced for a fan this size and is very energy efficient if you do not use the lights.Cons -1. Poorly rated on pretty much all sites and appears to suffer from many issues.2. Complicated remote which is not intuitive and takes a while to master. even turning the fan ON is a mystery at first.3. Instructions can be better especially on how to use the remote buttons.I will update this review as we continue to use it and if other problems show up. After 4 hours of use, its wobbly on just 2 speeds but otherwise working fine.

We chose this fan for our new construction. We needed a large-scale ceiling fan with a light for the peak of the vaulted ceiling of our 30'x22' great room. Additionally, the fan needed to coordinate with our Industrial chandelier. This fan looked good online, but it turned out to be far more impressive in person. I love clean craftsman inspired design. It quietly produces strong air circulation (6 speeds) while providing adequate ambient light for the large room.Updating my review after a week of practical use: THIS FAN IS EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT AT FIRST! The workmen misplaced the remote, so we weren't taking advantage of all the features. The dimmed light looks like a glowing moon on the peak of our vaulted ceiling. The remote switch reversing the motor at season change is a huge benefit -- now seriously considering changing out our other THREE bedroom fans solely for this feature.2019 Follow-up:-The fan itself still works impressively.-The beautiful moon-like light fixture went out in a burst of electronic drama after about 9 months. We have not been able to replace or repair it, which is disappointing. LED lights are supposed to last decades, rather than months.

Very beautiful fan, pretty simple install but fan remote doesn't work & even following the directions we could not get it balanced. Fan only goes in 1 direction even though it should go both ways (& that's after a "thinking" start). And because we were moving & Remodeling until this weekend now I can't return it.

The fan appears as shown. The remote doesn't work. I was able to turn the fan on 3 days ago and now we are unable to stop the blades from turning. The remote lights us and beeps but unable to stop it from turning. Sadly I am out of the return time otherwise it would go straight back! I guess I learned my lesson to take it out of the box right away and not wait to put it up.

Love the style of fan, but not real happy with the air it moves. Our 52-inch fans moves a lot more are than this one

Avoid. Did not work. Seller was not helpful at all.

I was considering another fan at first, when this fan was referred, i didn't thank i would like it, but i have grown to like it very much. This is a great fan.

Very noisy and even with the adapter it moves a lot. Not happy with it.
