Strong, Reliable, and Easy to Use!
This double-sided rug tape is exactly what I needed to keep my area rugs and carpets in place. The 2-inch width provides great coverage, and the 30-yard roll lasts a long time, making it perfect for multiple projects. Whether it’s securing rugs on hardwood floors or keeping outdoor carpets from shifting, this tape does the job incredibly well. The adhesive is heavy-duty, holding rugs firmly in place without damaging the floor when removed. It’s versatile enough for use on different surfaces, and I love that it’s easy to reposition or remove without leaving residue. This tape works for everything from small area rugs to larger carpets, and it’s held up great even in high-traffic areas. For anyone looking for a reliable, multi-purpose rug tape that’s both strong and easy to work with, I highly recommend this product!

The BEST, Strongest adhesive tape!! Multi-purpose (not just carpets). Ordered 5+ times and LOVE it
I have purchased a 5+ rolls of this carpet tape and will continue to keep coming back because this is THE BEST product out there!! This tape is ridiculously strong!I use it for my accent rugs, anti-fatigue kitchen mats, securing tiny potted plants so kittens don't knock them over, when hanging holiday or accent decorations that are delicate and want them to be unmovable, even use it to attach my mini camera to the mirrored wall in my living room. Literally almost anything you can think of, this adhesive will do the trick!I tried other carpet tapes and “nonslip” pads for my accent rugs, but literally nothing has worked as well as this does. It is incredibly adhesive and does not loose its grip as long as you don’t forcefully pull the rugs up. It’s so sticky that I have to use a butter knife to get it off of whatever hard surface its on because I can’t pull it up with my fingers. Not complaining at all, just saying this tape has heavy duty hold!LOVE IT! BUY IT! You will want to order another one when you see how well it works.

Wall to wall carpet on vinyl
I used this in a bedroom for an occupant who wanted wall-to-wall carpet, but there was a new vinyl floor that I didn't want to ruin with tacks. This worked great. I went through two full rolls for a 13×12 room. I put one layer directly on the vinyl and a carpet pad (roll from Home Depot) on top of that, then put another layer of tape on top of the carpet pad and laid the carpet (cut from Home Depot) on that. Not fun or easy lining everything up right the first time, but the tape was very strong right away. (I walked on it before peeling the paper back to make sure it adhered as much as possible to the surface.) We had movers come in a few hours after laying this all down, and the carpet didn't shift at all while moving all the furniture in. We've since pushed furniture around and the carpet hasn't bunched or moved. Aside from having to work in sections and line everything up painstakingly correct since we only had one shot once the material hit the tape, the only other slightly tricky part was peeling the paper off the tape. Sometimes it came off easy, sometimes not. I only had to peel a small piece off the vinyl in the end, and it came up with no damage. I didn't use the hairdryer trick to get it loose first, but will def do that when the carpet comes out. Get more tape than you think you'll need if you go this route. Pretty good deal for a 150+ sq ft carpet - can't even see the seams. $180 carpet + $100 carpet pad + 2 rolls of tape and about 2-3 hours to lay out.

Overall does the job
Used this to stick carpet on top of carpet (to help protect a rental's original carpet), and carpet on top of linoleum flooring. it holds pretty well for most carpets. Doesn't do too well with cheaper, lighter carpets on top of medium-pile carpeting. Does leave a bit of sticky residue on some spots, and it's nearly impossible to get off. Might try to freeze it and remove it. Does fine on the hard floors, but also sometimes leaves a sticky residue (which is easier to clean off of hard flooring). Overall, does its job, and I use it to adhere other things, too (i.e. crafting).

Perfect for Gym floors.
Works great for securing my rubber gym floor to concrete. It is very thin and very sticky.

Works great!
I love this tape! It actually keeps the hallway rugs in place! I have cats tearing up and down the hall so believe me, it gets tested. I recently removed a rug that had been held down by this tape and it took the backing right off the rug (I think because the rug was pretty old at this point). The tape was still stuck to the floor. I was worried this was going to be like my last rug tape that took me an entire bottle of Goo Gone to get cleaned up but I was wrong. Once I got it started it pulled right off without damaging the laminate flooring or leaving behind any sticky residue!
