Purchasing this mop help me save the environment as I'm not longer throwing away swiffer sheets. The microfiber mop works great on my wood laminate floor, and I shake the collected dust outside. I love the mop head can also be used damp, and it's machine washable. I just have to remember to replace it every 3 months for optimal performance.

I've been using this for 5 weeks. My Home is 60% hardwood floors, including two sets of hardwood steps and a kitchen and 2 bathrooms with linoleum. I have four humans and one dog living in this home and the floors get pretty dirty. The hardwood and linoleum are in heavy traffic areas. I was not impressed with the big name dry/ wet mopping system and wanted to use something that was more environmentally friendly, aka washable and reusable. For $14, I figured I could give this one a shot. I was very well pleased with how much dirt this picked up. It picked up more dirt using as a dry mop then that big name brand. I am visually impaired and check my work by feeling and when I would touch the floors, they were clean! I was even using less wet mopping because using this dry mop every other day was doing such a good job. It was saving me from having to do more work. In those five weeks, after using the duster, I would clean it off after each use. I had only felt the need to wash it twice, deciding to do so when it seemed to not be picking up as much dirt as it had previously. The first time I washed it was with the washing machine and air dried, the second time. I just washed it in the sink with dish soap and allowed it to air dry. It worked perfectly as expected after each washing. All that said, the mop itself is fantastic and does an amazing job. I would highly recommend it to anyone. However, the handle that the mop attaches to is not as impressive. Today while I was using the mop, dry, one of the tabs that holds it into place came off inside the mop. I inspected these tabs a little closer and they are not very well secure. I would have thought there would be some sort of snap to put the tabs into place, however, there is just a perforation so the tabs are able to move. In order to put the mop head onto the handle. I might be able to duct tape this back into place so I can still use the handle, but no one should have to repair a product that they have only been using for 5 weeks. That is why this product did not receive as many stars as I would have liked to given it. I would look into returning the item, however, for $14, I suppose I got what I paid for. As long as you understand this is not a great handle, but it is an awesome mop that does a fantastic job, you will be pleased with this product.

Best product for pet fur. I have purchased many gizmos and gadgets to pick up daily dust/fur accumulation due to having many cats inside my home. I have bought the expensive paper sheets that one attaches to a slider and find that I had to use too many and it became costly. Plus, they were never large or wide enough to cover a substantial amount of area. I don't know why I never thought about purchasing this type of waterless floor duster! I love it and it completely meets my daily floor dusting needs. I have one for upstairs and downstairs and purchased several refills so I always have a clean one handy. It is true as one reviewer stated that it picks up and keeps the dust/fur on the head and doesn't just move it around. Finally, after so many purchases of other products, this large, lightweight, simple to assembly equipment does exactly what I need it to do. It's a game changer if you have pets.

This dust mop came wrapped in a plastic bag that was secured with a very sticky tape to the handle. The tape was impossible to completely to remove and left a sticky residue on the handle about a quarter inch wide. I will probably need a commercial grade chemical remover to completely clean the sticky mess off. Not sure why there was a plastic bag in the first place. The packaging was eco friendly except for the plastic bag and tape. The handle/pole is smooth and well constructed out of metal. The mop itself is not the round shaped mop of an older O-Cedar mop I used for years and like very much. The rectangle shape fits on a flimsy plastic bendable flat connection that holds the mop in place. Not sure how long it will last after repeatedly removing the mop to shake it out. The Microfiber material is very effective catching dust/pet fur off the hardwood floors. On first touch I thought it was sprayed with something to create the mild stickiness of the material. It is not sprayed with anything. Microfiber is designed that way to attract dust. Very effective in removing/attracting just about anything on the floor. I have large areas of hardwood and the microfiber works perfectly at cleaning fur and small particles from the surface. Very pleased with that part of the mop. Pros: The microfiber mop material is very effective attracting and holding onto dust and pet fur. It releases the dust easily when shaken. The mop pole is made of metal and feels comfortable to hold. Cons: Not sure how long the plastic that holds the mop in place will last. Removing the mop to shake it requires a lot of bending and twisting to the plastic holder. This might be the weak link to this mop. Only time will tell. I would of preferred a round mop head. A round mop head and a more effective way to remove the mop from holder would earn this item five stars. Will update on how the plastic holder is preforming after repeated mop removals. Shaking the mop to clean it without removing it from the plastic holder would surely cause the flat plastic to break or crack. I had that experience before. Something to work on O-Cedar! Recommendation: I can't recommend this mop one way or the other. After reading the reviews it got, the majority of users seemed very pleased with it.

Works great for larger areas. So far works great. Easy to use.
