I put this in a doorway to my personal library. It's beautiful and stands out as a work of art! Easy to hang and it's quite sturdy. I had feared it would be brittle and break easily. Not at all! Strongly built. The colors are vibrant. It is at night that it really comes to life. During the day, not as visible, but still suggests bookshelves and books and vases, etc. I'm a boomer and this reminds me of the Pier One days when this sort of beading was easily attainable. I again have to stress how strongly made this is. Never tangles, or knots. Well weighted. I am very, very pleased with this product!

This looks very nice as a curtain for the closet that has no door in one of the smaller front bedrooms. This is one of two (purchased this one and one with a window looking out to some colorful branches). This adds some character and replaces a curtain I had there before. The only issue is when I want to get something in and out of the closet - the beads wanna get in the way. I have a couple pieces of ribbon to tie it out of the way if I am putting a lot of things in and out of the closet. It was fairly easy to hang, though I could not do it by myself. My brother helped me, he measured, drilled starting holes for the cup holder-like hooks and helped hang it on the hooks. Remember, these are handmade - so there are differences. You need to measure individually for each curtain. I had ordered two and the hanging hardware is not in the same place on the bar that holds the beads. Do take heed, you do have to have it hanging to see the full effect. I have an older home and these closet door openings I put these in were not the same size - you know - older cabins, built in 1900, might not be exactly level. Take your time, use care to ensure it is level with your opening rather than level with a level. If I would have leveled with a level it would have looked crooked. Instead we ensured it was level with the closet opening and it looks level.

I gawked at this curtain for months before buying it. They kept selling out when I would finally decide to but it. After this happening twice, I promised myself i would buy it next time I saw it in stock. There is a reason this keeps selling out, people!!! This curtain is beautifully hand crafted. You can tell it is put together with care and attention. I bought it to cover an ugly staircase leading up to my office. Installation was very easy! My only complaint is with the nature of beaded curtains in general. They are fragile if you are a klutz like me and maybe not small child friendly, but I imagine that cats would go wild. My dog doesn’t mind it, although it took her a couple weeks to attempt to walk through it. Unfortunately, I broke a strand while carrying a box up to the office. Customer service was friendly and prompt. They are helping me replace the broken strand. Could not be happier with this beaded curtain and the company! I am now in the market for a curtain hook to hold it back, so I can’t cause any further damage to it.

Trust the pics, these beads look amazing in a doorway. I use them as a door into the gaming room for me and the kids, and it adds a nice vibe to the room, like a secret bookshelf passage.The beads durability has been very impressive. My dogs run full speed through the beads regularly and none have broken or been damaged yet.A great purchase, looks good, sounds nice when people walk through it, and so far the durability has been great.

I've had this item for a few months and it's like but I took it out of the box. If you treat these things relative care it's going to last you. I believe these other reviews but it falls apart in a couple weeks, then I'd have to believe this person was just throwing it around. If you get one you know what I mean. They're pretty cool. That's all I got

These curtains claim to be carefully hand painted but ours were smudged and obviously not painted with care.Both were sticky to the touch (cheap paint quality perhaps?) out of the box and the craftsmanship was terrible on the top bar. One of the sets were damaged beyond the repair capabilities of a casual buyer. They didn't seem safe to hang nor durable in any way shape or form.When reached out to, the seller was rude and condescending and refused to let us return their product to them. Demanded we hang them even though we expressed no comfort doing so and mocked us for seeking options to remedy our dissatisfaction with this purchase.Thankfully Amazon protects their shoppers through the A-Z guarantee. These sellers will insist you cannot refund or return and that is bull. Just simply get into contact with Amazon and they will have your back!Thank you Amazon, we adore you.As for this seller, if you happen to read this, please try to be more courteous to your future buyers.

We needed a solution for our furnace room, which is just off our basement family room. It's actually a smaller pass-thru than a standard door size, and we couldn't hang just a regular fabric curtain because of the air flow, so we thought a beaded curtain could be the perfect answer. I thought this design was pretty neat & unique, so we ordered it and are not disappointed. There are a lot of strands so it's practically opaque & you can't see thru it when it's still, which is just what we wanted. I love the bookshelf look and we've received so many compliments on it. I gave it 4 stars because the beads are pretty brittle & there were a couple broken ones that we had to glue back together and you have to be really careful, but overall it is nice. We needed it shorter though, so for everyone wondering if length can be taken off, yes it can. Just be prepared to sit a while though & work with it. We had to go thru one-by-one, clip each strand at the bottom with wire cutters, take off the right amount of beads, then re-fasten each end. Time-consuming but worth the effort.
