Terrific for stretching Achilles tendon and gastrocnemius and soleus muscles in calf
This is the same slant board that was used in my Physical Therapy, and which was very useful and effective in stretching my Achilles tendon, and gastrocnemius and soleus muscles (in the calf) -- all of which had tightened as a result of a specific injury (and which can and does happen in conjunction with injuries that affect one's ability to ambulate, and specifically, to take 'normal' steps [i.e. if/when one's gait is affected in such a way as to result in one not using the musculature of the lower leg in what would otherwise be considered a 'normal' fashion], the consequences of altered & restricted [and especially 'non'-] use of various muscles and connective tissue can result in a kind of cascading this-affects-that -type impact, and affected structures can atrophy and/or 'shorten'/tighten, due to their not having been 'recruited' as they otherwise would be, if one had been using them as one previously had). In addition to the experience-based effectiveness I'd known with use of this specific product, a key reason that I wanted to get the same slant board as what I'd used in PT was due to the board being so stable and well-made -- it looks rather simple in construction, but the relevant aspects of this board are made and fit together in a way that results in the slant board being stable below one's feet (as well as involving a good range of angles, when it comes to its use), and that stability is very important, especially when one considers that some 'major' muscles and a critical tendon (among other things) are being stretched while 'actively' using the board -- to have any such board 'give way', or otherwise result in one suddenly losing one's footing, while engaged in an active stretch, could result in injury, let alone possible exacerbation of an existing issue. Lastly, while it looks as though one is paying for a simple construction involving 3 pieces of wood, the craftsmanship of this product, and its translating to a stable and effective, let alone very-easy-to-use, platform, and its tending to be utilized for the purpose of stretching, and potentially strengthening, key lower body structures associated with standing and walking, the price for this item, while seeming to be a bit high, is technically worth 'enduring', especially if/when compared to the cost of even one session with a physical therapist, and most importantly, if/when compared to the cost of otherwise not being able to recover effective and/or painfree use of the anatomical structures in question, not to mention the potential 'price' one risks 'paying' if/when using an inferiorly made product that, while potentially less costly, when it comes to money, could involve an unstable platform an/or less effective angles, etc., associated with use of the product, and thus possibly result in one not achieving the outcome one otherwise could, with a better made product.

Good product, a bit over priced
This is well made, can be adjusted to 4 different angles, and can be folded flat for easy storage. But, I suppose because of this design, and the thickness of the sturdy boards, the bottom edge is a bit higher from the floor than other non-folding products one finds in gyms ..etc. I find this a bit too high but still very usable ( I don't use it as shown in the picture, I don't put my entire foot on the board , only the front third ) I suppose if you use it as shown in picture then there should be no issue at all. While it is a good quality product, I think it is a bit over priced for what it is. But, this seems to be the going rate for similar products.

Flimsy construction
The screws pulled out of mine after a few uses.

Boards4Health Could Do a Better Job
Gouged myself on a 1 1/2 inch splinter from inside one of the holes on the board. Inner surface of holes are rough. For this high price, I would expect the wood to be finished nicely enough that I would't bleed from unpacking it. The single sheet of photos enclosed to explain how to use the board was useful; however, other than a caption under one photo stating the lowest slot was a 10 degree elevation, there was no indication how many degrees of elevation the other slots were. Bottom of page said to go to [...] for additional information but the website was down. Expensive and overall disappointing. On the other hand, I didn't have the tools to do it myself and I really needed a slant board for stretches. Guess I can break out the sandpaper to ensure it is safer.

Great for Anyone with Tight Calf Muscles and Extremely Well Made
This really might be the best product I've ever purchased. With my legs straight, I can reach my knees. Similarly, my calves are really, really tight. I've used a very similar product to this in Physical Therapy for 90 second, but having it a home now, and having time to stand on it for say ten minutes makes a world of difference. Now, when I walk, my feet snap (flexion?) like they did when I was younger and I can walk faster instead of walking like a double peg leg. The build quality and finish are excellent and it folds to less than two inches thick. The platform hooks in securely to the vertical back. I also like that the grippy surface is a few inches longer and wider than my feet. This isn't the fountain of youth and so far, I've only figured out how to use it help my calves and not my quads or hamstrings, but I still can't recommend this product more highly/enthusiastically. I'd give it ten stars for anyone with tight calf muscles.

Works great; very well built
I've had this slant board for 6 years and use it daily. Works great; very well built. Would HIGHLY recommend it. I've tried other but this is the best of the rest.

Best piece of home-exercise equipment!
Great board! Well-built, very sturdy. Muscles get a terrific stretch at upper levels. So glad I found this online. Now I don't have to share the boards at the gym. Can stretch my calves, hamstrings anytime I want. The nice thing is the board comes with instructions for a variety of stretching postures. Nice to have the options. Board folds away conveniently.

Great for after Achilles surgery
I have seen this same slant board used in physical therapy clinics and have really found great use from it. It is quite sturdy, craftmanship is excellent, and it is very simple to use and store. I am 6 months post surgery from a complete Achilles tendon rupture and have found using this board helpful to stretch as well as strengthen. A bit pricey compared to others but I think well worth it.
