It does not play the ABC song. It does do other songs and sounds out all the letters of the alphabet. Also does numbers and other sounds.

Is this bpa lead and pthlates free?

Although BPA is not currently prohibited for use in toys, we are taking proactive measures to ensure that our new products do not contain BPA. LeapFrog has already taken the steps to voluntarily remove PVC from our products that had been used in the past... Although PVC with phthalates was used in plastic cases of books and software this has now changed. As of December 1, 2006, all Manufactures were required to meet certain standards regarding PVC/Phthalates for San Francisco City and County in California. LeapFrog has been and will continue to meet all toy industry standards for safety in both the United States and Europe. We want to assure you that LeapFrog is always concerned with the health and safety impact of our products on our customers as well as on the environment.
