Great for reading Judy Blume.
I never read these as a child, so I'm enjoying them as an adult. Great reading for children. Practical knowledge to get children through childhood with age appropriate messages. No new age goobledygook to mislead anyone.

My teacher Judy
Holy moly. These books. All these books. As a genexr I did have a human mom and she was lovely. But we all know today (thanks tiktok) were feral and independent by age 11.Judy was there though! Thank GOD. Between her and Amelia Bedelia, I was pretty set in the role model and guidance department. That was until i picked up Go Ask Alice and Helter Skelter in 6th grade....

Judy Blume gets what it is to be an adolescent
Judy Blume has a knack for weaving tales that address the angst and joys of being an adolescent in a credible and engaging manner. I've been a long-time fan and now my tween has discovered the joys of reading Blume's adolescent novels. This boxed set contains the following novelsAre You There God? It’s Me, MargaretBlubberDeenieIggie’s HouseIt’s Not the End of the WorldThen Again, Maybe I Won’tStarring Sally J. Freedman as HerselfAll of the stories portray protagonists that deal with issues such as the pangs of adolescence, family troubles, and more. Tweens and teens will easily relate to these stories, and the writing is accessible, as the author writes in a fluid and engaging manner. There may be some profanity in the stories, but relevant within the context so I would advise parents be forewarned about this. Other than that, I would recommend these novels to Grades 5 and up.
