Red Kap Men's Denim Bib Overall

I bought these to work at the sawmill. I mostly chose them because of the reasonable price although I do have a couple of Red Kap shirts I like. These fit nicely. They don’t sag in the crotch like my Liberty overalls do but to be fair these are a smaller size so that might play into it. They feel great while bending and squatting and the bib straps don’t slide down even during 10+ hours of work. I like the button bib pocket but I do miss the two bib pockets (including one that zips) from my Liberty’s. The Carhart overalls I own don’t have enclosed bib pockets at all which causes sawdust accumulation to the contents of the pockets. I’m 6’4” and 245 pounds. I wear a 36x36 in most jeans but overalls aren’t measured the same. I went with the 40x34. The waist is perfect and the length is good. I’ve been wearing them 2-3 days a week for the last few weeks and they seem like they will be durable but I guess time will tell. These would be perfect if they added a second bib pocket with zip enclosure and a second pen pocket. I still have to give them 5 stars because they just fit and move better than any other brand I’ve tried.

I'm so pleased with these. I hadn't worn overalls since I was a kid, maybe that's why I avoided them: They seemed childlike? Whatever! I'm over that now! I can't tell you how many sets of workclothes AND my nicer clothes that I've gone thru that I could have protected better with a good set of overalls like these in the past. It's like a shop apron with chaps attached. Extra protection for the legs and torso. It's already saved a couple of pairs of pants and shirts that I had the foresight to cover up with these overalls. And the comfort level in them is surprising: In cold weather, it's additional layering. Come this summer, I think I might actually dare to wear these with just my skivvies and a t-shirt, to keep cool: The air flow and roominess seem like these might be just the thing to go repairing the fenceline this summer. Barbed wire hasn't managed to snag it yet, and the denim seems just as tough if not tougher than my jeans and canvas pants. There is ONE downside, but it's so minor, I would say it's only a fractional deduction to consider: I don't like the bib clasps. The riveted button is fine, but the wire loop to attach just doesn't have as secure a grip as I'd like for it to have. I like the concept of the clasp (I think it's called a "frog" closure?), but the design needs a little more grip to it to make me happy. Maybe it's just this one set I bought. In any case, it isn't enough to stop me from buying these again. I'll be ordering another 2 sets soon, so I can cycle between sets while washing the others. For my needs, these are ideal workclothes, and Red Kap doesn't make you break the bank to buy them. They'll put you to work and keep you on budget. 5 stars, Red Kap.

I have been looking for a pair of pair of denim overalls that both fit well fit when working, standing, and sitting as well as holds up to the abuse of of construction work. I've tried Key, Carhartt, Red Kap, Dickies, and others. For a long time I was very happy with the performance of the Key overalls but their sizes run a little small in my opinion and while standing, they fit fine but through a full range of motion, the sides would blow out, wear out, and just hang open. Not ideal. The body fit on the Red Kaps was great but the inseam was insane. I needed to cuff almost 6 inches out of the leg. Carhartt is bulletproof but heavy. A real workhorse but sometimes you just need a bit lighter build. I had high hopes for the Red Kap. I like their work shirts a lot- once I figured out the right size. I should have known to expect poor fit. The shirts run two sizes too small and these bibbs fit great around the waist but the legs... jeez. I ordered a 32" inseam and they came out 37" the bib and straps adjusted to fit properly but the top of bib is almost to my throat. I dont know what beanpole form they are using to design these, but be aware, the sizing is peculiar. I'm keeping them though. I like the feel so ill just hem the legs myself as I can't imagine what would show up if I ordered a 28" inseam. Some freaky shorts?? Who knows. UPDATE There is a lot of shrinkage after washing. Nearly all of my issues with fitment resolved after a few washes. If these had a zip fly, they would be great.

I wore these to the supermarket and three people commented on them. Fits nice, couldn't be happier. They soften up quick in the wash.

I've worn more than 1/2 dozen brands of overalls. These are inexpensive and decently made. The strap connectors don't lock and can unhook while sitting. The length is just adequate as is the waist. The straps have to be extended to the maximum length to just accommodate my normal length torso, leaving the bib much lower than other brands. I can make these work but just barely. I'd go a size bigger if I could but the strap length is a deal breaker. If I had a gut, there's no way they'd be long enough.

Eigentlich habe ich mir die Latzhose nur für Fasching bestellt und nicht zum arbeiten. Man muss sie etwas größer bestellen damit sie ordentlich passt. Da sie so genial bequem ist trage ich sie nun als Freizeithose daheim oder mal zum einkaufen (z. B. Baumarkt). Manche Leute schauen zwar ein bisschen weil Jeanslatzhosen hier in Deutschland an Männern eher selten zu sehen sind, aber das ist mir egal 😂.

La pechera muy alta y los broches de sujeción de los tirantes se desabrochan solos al sentarse debido a la pechera muy alta , si bajas la pechera la sección de la cintura te queda en las nalgas y si la pones en las caderas la pechera queda a 10 cms de la garganta, pero la mesclilla en si es gruesa y muy cómoda y buen precio y me llegó unos díaz antes ...

Almost perfect I've given 4 stars, however they are more like 4 and a half stars, if i could change anything the trousers are far too wide, I understand the trousers are boot cut, but cricky do they have to be that wide, other dungarees I've got the shoulder straps fall of, I've worn these all week, they have stayed on perfectly, I love the chest pocket my phone fits in there nicely, I do love the deep pockets. Overall I'd say the price is just about right for what they are. Righto off to order another pair. Edit, I've had my pair cropped, I love them like this for the warmer weather, I would love Amazon to stock them as a cropped version.
