Works perfectly for xbox 360
Ordered this product as i have an older xbox 360, which doesn't support HDMI cable. This helps in connecting it to my tv with HDMI cable. It does not cause any significant lag so you can actually enjoy your games.

Review of Porta 5 RCA Component to HDMI Convertor
Have connected and used the Porta 5 RCA Component to HDMI Convertor once, from my DVD player to my LCD Sony Bravia TV. The convertor device worked well. Have not checked in detail, but the Vedio and Audio quality is good and much sharper than the composite connection

Great product
I bought lot of product from aliexpress and amazon but none were even average but this component converter is best. Upscaling to 1080p is also good. Thanks for this

Works well for my needs.
I purchased this mainly for connecting older gaming consoles to my Smart TVs that lacked Y/Pb/Pr component video support. I tested this out on an Onn Smart TV from Walmart as well as another Smart TV by Toshiba using a PS2 Slim and a Nintendo Wii. Both worked well and even supported games that have a Progressive Scan feature. Gamecube games also worked with this device when I played them on my Wii. There are slight image issues during game play such as "jailbars" and the occasional "screen-tearing," but those are given expectations when mixing analog and digital signals to begin with; I still felt satisfied with the sharp and clear images thanks to this product. I also tested a Sega Saturn console since I had procured component cables for it, but sadly it wasn't perfect. The startup screen on the Saturn didn't appear at all and games that toggle between different video resolutions like Virtua Fighter 2 and Fighting Vipers can drop the display signal in-between gameplay. I also tried testing out PS1 games using Resident Evil 2 on the PS2 Slim. The PS1 logo shows up for a few seconds, but the video signal drops afterwards, rendering the game unplayable. Physically the device's Right Audio connector is fixed too close to the left of its hole as shown in the photo which made it awkward to connect the red audio cable through it, but the sound managed to work fine anyway. All and all this a good device for its cost and I will have fun using it to play my PS2 and Wii games : ) .

Does what I expected it to. Easy setup. Does not include cabling other than the power cord.
I bought two of these to convert older component-video sources, to HDMI - for a Wii and for an old DVD player/karaoke machine made by RSQ. Then connected them to my Denon receiver's HDMI inputs. Works flawlessly so far, and the Denon upscales the images to fit properly on my television. Note that these little boxes (they're about the size of a standard pack of playing cards) each have a power cord and electrical outlet, so ensure you've got spare outlets to plug them in. They're quite small boxes and don't take up much room. They don't come with HDMI cables, but those are easy enough to get, separately. I think you could theoretically power these with USB sources, if you had the correct adapters - they use 5 volts, just like most computer equipment. But I have not tried that! They have a very bright blue LED showing that they're functioning, so you might want to hide the box behind your other AV equipment. It is important to note that these boxes convert component to HDMI - they DO NOT work in reverse. The company does sell other equipment that will convert HDMI to Component Video, if that's what you need. For me, this solved the problem of having a new receiver that (like many on the market) has both analog and digital video inputs, but does not have internally, an analog-to-video converter. Most new TV's no longer accept component video in, so this box was my best solution.

Incredible device - Highly recommend
I usually never leave reviews for stuff but this one deserves it.Note: This is a component (IN) to HDMI (Out) product! Don't buy it expecting it to take HDMI (IN) and go to Component (Out).First and foremost I just need to lay this out right here: This product is WAY better than I initially expected it to be.What I needed was a way to convert YPbPr Component coming from my Nintendo Wii and getting that to HDMI with a good upscale to 480p and send that signal to my Elgato HD60S. It overachieved in what I needed it for. The only thing is instead of 480p, the Porrta offers resolutions of 720/1080p. There's a botton that toggles between both of those resolutions but for the signal it was receiving from the Wii it only allows me to use 720p for it, which is fine.It shows up in my software as its native 16:9 resolution so I had to manually adjust it to a 4:3 for it to maintain it's native resolution. So the quality of everything dramatically increased from what I was using before. The images are sharp and the colors are brilliant. There are no artifacts, there's no pixelation, none of that stuff. It's clean. I've never seen these games look the way they were meant to look until I got this device. I'm talking nearly 20 year old games looking crisp and HD-like.tl;dr - An incredible device that I highly recommend. This device is a steal and incredibly good for it's price. I did a lot of previous research on other devices such as RetroTINK and the OSSC and went with this Porrta device and I'm glad I did.
