The Discworld Mapp
As a diehard Discworld fan I'm not too sure why it's taken me so long to buy this map but I'm so glad I have it now and I can't wait to start using it to plot the character's journeys on my next reread of the series! This is exactly like those tourist maps you can buy for any other holiday destination, the ones that have a booklet of information on one side and then a huge fold out map on the other that you can lay out across your dining table and plot your holiday destinations. Unfortunately we can't visit the Discworld in real life but this definitely helps bring the spirit of the place to life. As much as I have been able to picture characters and parts of the Discworld very vividly thanks to Terry Pratchett's wonderful writing I love having this physical map to look at.The little booklet included is quite small so it won't take you more than 20 minutes to read in it's entirety but it has a nice introduction to the map creating project from both Terry Pratchett and the illustrator Stephen Briggs. It also includes a brief history of the Discworld's most prominent explorers which is written with Terry's trademark wit and humour. This book may not be for the casual Discworld fan but it's a lovely addition to any superfan's collection.

Great gift for a Discworld fan
My husband loves all the Discworld books. This is the perfect companion for a Discworld lover. Very clever full-sized map.

Good overall if you know what you're actualy getting.
I love discworld, and this is a great product, but don't be fooled by the details which state that this product has 369 pages. It only has about 32, and that's including the cover, title, and copyright pages, and the table of contents. I have no idea where they got 369 from. I was really hoping that it came with a much more robust companion book. The map itself is pretty well done, printed on decent paper, and looks quite nice. But it is unfortunately glued to the booklet really well, so it may well be impossible to detach it without damage in the case one wanted to laminate or frame the map itself, which is what I wanted to do. I would only give it 3 stars since the details were misleading and I can't frame the map like i wanted to, but I love discworld so much that it still gets 4 stars instead of 3.

Terry Pratchatt is so much fun
Terry Pratchatt's series Discworld has been a favorite in my literary circles for some time now. Last Christmas when my family gathered together from all over the country we read several of his books. I was unable to get this book for that meeting but in two years time when we gather again I have been asked to bring it with me. The book was in excellent condition despite being used and I really enjoyed reviewing it.

If you are not the biggest nerd, choose the atlas instead but this is excellent.
This is really for the specially interested (Like myself). This is the old edition of the discworld map, if you want the new and udated one, look for the discworld atlas. It might be also intersting for people who are into learning about the process of making a fictional map because the notes by briggs are excellent! I squeed, but you might not
This map is excellent if you are the kind of detail-obsessive fan who wants to track down every leg, for example, of Vimes' journey to Uberwalt. Or who cares exactly how far Hersheba is from Tsort. Or who wants to know exactly how to get to Klatch from Ahnk-Morpork.I am that kind of fan. However, if you are not, you might not enjoy this. Just a warning.Anyway, it's better than your average Fantasy Map At The Beginning Of The Book, and it's got all the bits in, including Holy Wood. Very nice.

A must for Discworld Fans
Despite saying that he'd never map out Discworld, Terry Pratchett did, and it was worth the wait. A great way to put the many stories into context.

Four Stars
A fun side line for the Disc World enthusiasts. More detail would be nice.

Gives a good idea of the Discworld
If, like me, you have an imagination that feels satisfied when it's been verified what it's thinking is correct, then this is for you. It gives a very good idea of what the Discworld in general looks like although I was a little dissapointed in that there wasn't a lot of detail as I expected and the book itself is more of a fold out pamphlet. It has however served it's purpose as a way to get my bearings, which is what a map is for.

Exactly as described
This is one of the earlier Discworld tie ins and it does exactly what it says on the wrapper. If you feel the need to know the relative positions of the places mentioned on the Discworld (although I'd say that was a need only really if you are trying to make your way through The Colour Of Magic) this map is the thing for you.RIP Sir Terry.

Drifting onwards through space...
I loved this little book when it arrived, as it includes a large scale map of the early stages of the discworld, which needs to be recognized when this was originally brought out. Pratchett clearly had a brilliant imagination and that is why, for the fans, obtaining this rare item shouldn't go a miss.
