Great color and my phone is secure.

Haven’t had this case very long about a week. I have dropped my phone several times, no damage, but I also have the “Black Ice” Gadget Guard screen protector (sorry if not exact wording). Pro’s to the Lifeproof Slam case: covers the back of phone with the plast feel, by no means is it a cheap feel. Does cover the edges well with a rubber runner. I have not had any issue with audio in or out. The cover for the volume buttons is sturdy.Cons: There is no cover for the screen. No cover for the ring/silent switch, no cover for the charge adapter, or speakers at bottom of phone. No cover for the sound (your ear area) when talking on phone. These uncovered areas make me skeptical about the claim for ‘waterproof’ or completely ‘Lifeproof’. However, I do like the fact the case is slim and not bulky, I ordered another one for my daughter’s phone. Which we have replaced the screen 3 times now. (Her fault not a specific case issue). Yes, I would suggest this to my friends unless they will be around water the majority of the time. But take care of it and I think the case will without a doubt be worth the price!

If you are looking for a slim phone case this is the one. It allows you to use the screen without getting in the way. Yet it isnt a sturdy as the others it will defend you to a point. I like it tho. If you are looking for shatter proof then dont buy and Iphone as their not. But this will save you a few times. I like it. Worth the money.

If you are planning to store stuff in it it is not for you, it. needs to be removed with a tool that it comes with or you can use a coin

Lifeproof brand nameI have owned 4-5 of these cases over the yearsSince the iPhones are not water resistant I just wanted an impact protection case without all the waterproofing over buttons and ports - this fit the bill.Seems strong so far- hopefully it protects the phone for along time. Pleased with the sale price and the design as well.

This is not the “traditional” life proof case as I have purchased several time through the years for different phones. The clear back is already showing some signs of stress cracks around the corner of back camera. I work mainly outdoors exposed to dust, dirt, rain, etc., and all of these elements find their way between my phone and the clear rear casing as well as in phone ports (charging and speaker). It would be nice if they still made the cases that would protect the ports as well as the camera. Other than that, the case is slim, light, and have dropped many times without my phone screen cracking.

I love the way the rear of the case is clear… and how the front of the case is rubber and has a lip so when you put your phone face down the screen isn’t actually touching the surface the box came kinda opened already but the case is legit. So that’s all that truly matters

(EDIT: Reduced to 1 star rating because my phone just fell from the seat of my car, which is less than three feet up, and now I have a broken screen. I’ve had the case less than three months. If you’re going to waste money on a crappy case, do yourself a favor and get something half the price of this one.)I am absolutely flabbergasted that something this poor in quality is being sold under the Lifeproof label. I had another Lifeproof case with the screen protector that lasted for two and a half years before it was so beat up that I had to replace it. I absolutely loved that one.This one hasn’t even gone three months and it is broken in more than one spot. It started cracking just weeks after I got it from a couple of drops (I’m very clumsy with my hands). Just now I dropped my phone and it popped completely out of this case.I’m giving it two stars instead of one because at least it’s kept my screen from getting cracked. Hopefully the phone doesn’t fly out like that again. Not impressed with this case at all.Also, the parts of the case that cover buttons on the phone were very stiff and difficult to use for the first week or two. It was really bothersome to try and use.
