I give this zen garden a 4/5. Personally, my only flaw with it is how shallow it is. You can not apply any pressure when raking in the sand, or you’ll easily get to the bottom and it is not the same feeling as raking sand obviously. The value for the money is great, as these zen gardens aren’t as cheap as you’d think. The bridge and rocks make it look really nice. If it weren’t for the super shallow sand, I would of gave this 5 stars. I think it would be a great gift for a kid or younger teen.

It was a gift to a friend in a nursing home. I thought it would be a way for her to relax by rearranging the items and drawing in the sand.

I am a therapist with the Santrai in my office. I started noticing that it is in the tray would be moved a different size would be in the tray when I would come in for work. Someone on the cleaning crew was using the tray. They would make designs that would bring me a great amount of joy. I decided to gift the person with the sand tray for Christmas. They were initially hesitant to take it so I had to write a note on the gift insisting that they take it. I continue to come into my office to different designs that are made in the tray by whomever is on the cleaning crew. It was really great to gift this product to an Anonymous person whom I know appreciate it.
