The Best Sherlock and Watson to date. A cast, script and cinematic genius, the author would approve.
Well this was amazing, loved the series but this is far the best of the lot. Who is the best sherlock inb history well this has to be the most modern and exhilarating. This series has to be far and away the best thriller and mystery series to date. Filming, cinematography and script, phenomenal.

This episode of Elementary was really entertaining and imaginative. Much better than the TV offerings that evening.

SO MUCH TO IMPRESS, JUST ONE ASPECT TO MAR
A brain tumour? Fortunately not, but Holmes has health problems necessitating a prolonged rest. Fat chance, his chronic pent-up energy craving the outlet complicated cases will bring. This powerful sixth season has Holmes confronted by more challenges than usual - not least the activities of a serial killer ultimately causing major changes for him and Watson. The two will also have to come to terms with significant events in their families. As ever, great scripts and performances. Sadly, also as ever, an intrusive music track that reduces the impact of both - it particularly inexcusable when explanations are given or during confidences exchanged in low voices. Although so much is so strong, one theme seems rather weak - Watson's great wish to adopt a child is surely impracticable at her age (approaching 50?) with the emergencies she faces most days? Arguably she and Holmes should confine themselves to the tortoise and bees. 21 episodes. Interesting bonus features. Apparently this was expected to be the final season - which probably accounts for that rather unconvincing tagged on bit at the end, and why creators select their favourite moments from the six seasons. Instead this season was extended, which meant adjustments to storylines - especially the serial killer's. Good news thus for fans. One more season to go, the series hopefully to leave on a high.

Superlative- Series Six Continues to Please Sherlock Fans.
Elementary - Season 6 is another brilliant, tightly scripted, well acted series. Each of the 21 stories has been written with care and love by a superb writing team. Now in its 6th series Elementary is always consistently good. Jonny Lee Miller continues to be the modern day Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Lui is a brilliant if not now equal foil as Joan Watson. I used to have Sky but cancelled the only series I missed was Elementary. Thankfully I am able to buy this brilliant series. Recommended.

Very good series as always. Never gets a shake up though, heavy lid on top of drama. Not so much excitement. On such an even level almost rigid now. Like a long, long, long marriage perhaps?? As always 5 stars. :)
