Its a very good product! I like how the AUX cord is long so it could reach the back seat in case people in the back plug in their phones. Only thing might be it doesn't roll ALL the way back how you 1st get it BUT that doesn't really matter as long as it rolls up its fine! 😃

I had a similar product, same brand, but from a different seller, and it worked for over two years. Finally, the cord started to wear out, and I had to order another.I thought this product from this Amazon seller would be of similar quality; however, it certainly was not. It lasted in my stereo for approximately 10-15 minutes, until it must have broken by itself. Now it's stuck, and I may have to get the whole stereo disassembled or replaced. This product does not compare to the standards set forth by its brand-name in terms of quality.The only positive outlook is that Amazon will be refunding me.

In my Tacoma there is a feature, I guess, that does auto rewind, and apparently that can mess up with this kind of product. It kept ejecting and not being able to "play". After a quick search online I found a video from something disassembling one like this and taking out a couple of specific gears. I did it and now it works no problem. You can really take out all the gears since it has nothing to do with the function of this.Its great so far!

I've bought multiple cassette players from Best Buy and other electronic stores. None of them beat this one. I have an Acura Tl 2006 and unfortunately it still uses casette. The sound plays very well and you can hear the bass and not low.

I bought this almost exactly one year ago to replace my previous cassette adapter. While the sounds quality was good and the retractable cord was a nice feature, the cable is already giving me problems now where audio will only come out of the left or right channel until you wiggle the cable near the jack. In the last day or two, even that doesn't work well, so now I have the choice between one channel or no channels...One of the reasons I got that was because of the retractable cable. My previous adapter only had one long flat cord, which on several occasions over 3-5 years of use had gotten caught under the passenger seat adjustment rails, among other things. Despite that, it continued to work for a long time before it gave up the ghost.Knowing this, I bought the ReTrak so that I wouldn't run into that sort of situation again, and it spent 95% of its time almost completely retracted, with just enough slack to plug my phone in from the cup holder. In other words, this one had far less wear and tear from physical abuse than my previous one, and yet failed for no apparent reason. And this is coming from someone who's very careful and meticulous with his things.I would not recommend this, and I'm currently looking for a different product, ideally with modular cables.

This is the only adapter that works in my 2004 Volvo without sounding tinny. Great sound, but be prepared to buy this a few times a year. The wire always seems to short out after a while, so you have to bend the cord around until the sound comes through. I keep buying em cuz I'll be damned if I'm stuck listening to the radio though.

Bought this for a 2003 Toyota Corolla. It worked, but if you moved the cable while listening you'd get static and the left speakers would cut out. I was going to return it, but before I could the adapter got stuck in the radio. I was unable to get it out despite my attempts to gently pry it out. Ultimately, I'll have to disassemble the car stereo to get it out. This was a waste of money, and it might end up costing me a new car stereo. My sister was able to get it out of her tape deck.

Delivered quickly and works well. My husband pulled out the cords on both sides of the retractable thing to the correct length for my phone, so I have never played around with the retractable personally but he didn't think it retracted as well as he expected. I am able to play my phone music so it suits me just fine.

I had a wonderful cassette adapter that never paused the music I was playing, so I assumed all adapters were the same way, but with this one, it has to stop and rewind really randomly - sometimes it's every five minutes, sometimes it's every hour. Really frustrating. The sound quality has been fine though.
