Absolutely no drama with this thermal paste. I used a small amount for an intel 9900K. I have looked in the bios for temps and its idling at at around 37c. Cheap but effective. Great stuff.

I used this in one of my systems for two to three years and it ran great, no problems. But I found that when it came to upgrading it was quite messy despite not using very much. To start it bonded the heat sink and CPU together a little too well and when I was trying to remove the heat sink it actually pulled the CPU out of its socket along with it luckily with no damage. And then when I did finally separate it the small amount of thermal gunk was very very runny and managed to get on the pins. Thankfully this is something I'm pretty familiar with and I was able to clean it off without issue and the item work just fine. Overall I'm pleased with the product and it's performance I would just caution you to be very careful with how much you use and future disassembly when it comes to it.

My gaming laptop had been throttling for some time even when just surfing the web and not playing my games. I wasn't aware about thermal paste until I did some research and watched a few YT vids. When the paste came, I was ready to tackle what I thought was going to be a difficult job. Fans and heat sink off, and cleaning the area with Isopropanol was a breeze. Fans opened up and intake and outtake grills cleaned, paste added, replaced the screws for the heat sink in numerical order (Most people don't realize this has to be done in number order), base panel back on and fired up. Stress test showed a good clean operating system and my Nvidia fan control panel also showed a good cooling level and my games are as stable as if the gaming laptop was fresh out of the box.

Really easy to apply using the syringe.Just make sure you are not "overdoing" things. A super thin film is needed between the chip and the heatsink. I am using it for embedded systems (RaspberryPis) for a long time with no issues at all.

Works great on my lenovo notebook. The stock thermal compound was basically spent after 2 years, and this helped me bring down the display card's temperature by 15 degrees in gaming sessions.Don't find the spatula useful though.
