Just bought a new build house that has a multimedia box installed. This allows me to have the cable service to be distributed throughout the house with ease. Perfect.

Helps keeping media cabinets tidy
This cable splitter is one of a few items from LeGrand that I purchased to organize my media cabinet. It locks into the cabinet well although it can come loose during set up. The connection seems to work. I have a cable coming in and multiple cables going out. My broadband connection is at full speed. It can be mounted facing up or down.

works fine for On-Q / Legrand cabinets. Better than 1x8 for signal loss.
It does the job...fits inside an On-Q cabinet. The signal loss is much lower than the On-Q 1x8 VM1002 that I have. We started having phone drops from a cable-modem telephone adapter. Switching to the 1x4 got the device to stay connected. The 1x4 has 7dB insertion loss versus 11dB of the 1x8. This comes with the AC1007 bracket...just look in the box under the cardboard spacer. If you already have a VM1001 or VM1002 that you're down-sizing from, you can leave that bracket installed in your cabinet and just pull out the center panel and replace with the VM1000. If you're not using all the ports, make sure you terminate them with F-type 75-ohm terminator caps like F Type 75 Ohm Terminator - 10 Pack. It has an internal 6kV surge protector, but no grounding point. It's designed for indoors, so your cable connection should already have an inline coax grounding block outside. My reasons for 4 stars? No grounding point (without explanation). And, it's much larger than a plain 4-way splitter without the fancy mounting bracket.

Easily handles my 2.5Ghz transfers between my router and hard wired nodes.
Used this to replace a older rocketfish splitter that was busted. Surprisingly it improved speed and transfer rate while cleaning up signal loss.

Works well, but hard to get some connectors started.
I'm using this to split a local outdoor antenna to several rooms. All locations are able to receive local channels fine. I didn't notice any loss to the three locations I'm currently using. It seems harder than other splitters to get the coax cables threaded, but once started it's no problem.

So Far So Good; Comes with Bracket
I was a little hesitant about buying this module as neither the picture shown nor the description details whether this comes with a bracket for mounting within an On-Q or Legrand Enclosure. Sure enough, when I opened the box it was right there. Snapped into the enclosure very easy & you are able to remove or reposition the module within an enclosure with minimal effort. It was a little difficult to get RG6 cables to screw into the module at first, but once you get the angle right, they go right on . So far, no signal loss.

Works as advertised
I am designing and building my On-Q/Legrand TV / telephone / broadband data distrubtion panel. I needed one of these among many other modules and supplies. The angle-mounting capability of this module helps to de-clutter the maze of cables inside the panel, but a wrench or needle-nose pliers is required to tighted the coax cable connectors (because this device's 9 ports are very tightly spaced). Actually that is a good thing: tight spacing leads to a neat arrangement.
