El libro Creando amor de John Bradshaw lamentablemente no ha tenido el reconocimiento y la difusión que debería tener . Debería ser parte del currículo escolar de todos las instituciones educativas en el mundo. Ayer al igual que hoy sigue siendo urgente y necesario acabar con los valores del patriarcado y el capitalismo para dar paso a una verdadera y auténtica cultura de amor basada en el respeto a la dignidad humana.

I feel John Bradshaw's many books, this one included, is very clear about life and it's many challenges. I saw him in person when he used to speak and he is a captivating speaker. His book has practical applications and I appreciate having found writings that can make me a better person once applied.

I'm still in the process of reading this book and I have learned so much about life and how love should be created. I would highly recommend this book for individuals who are seeking to understand why we do what we do and as parents to understand that allowing your children to be who God created them to be is much more important then us stiffling their ability to be themselves.

I have not read all of this but what I have read is very helpful about understanding dynamics of why we continue to live our lives in the past, though we may not know it. He is coming from a place of exposing the shame element and people who come from or understand the 12 step programs will recognize his way of demystifying pain and shame. He is a gentle caring soul who really wants us to understand and reveal ourselves TO ourselves and then be able to move on.

I have been an avid follower of John Bradshaw for many years....his books are easy to read and he writes in laymen's terms....this man knows what he is talking about .....best to read a chapter at a time so you can absorb it....a lot of information......thanks

Really an excellent Book, great condition

John Bradshaw's literature has been a real help to me. I enjoy his theories and his style of writing. He doesn't overload you with concepts, but really breaks things down and keeps them simple. I recommend this book to anyone, no matter your situation...it will help.

I am a clinical mental health counselor, and recently came across this author. So far, everything I've read by him has been really good. I like the way he puts things into terms that my clients can grasp onto.

I love how John Bradshaw understands what he’s writing about. This is a very helpful book.

This book really helped validate my 12yrs relationship with my husband. Basically in short I knew I was very much like my mum behaves towards my dad (controlling/ condescending / narcissistic) and it took many many years of arguments and feedback from my husband, inner work for me to change and become a very different person. However having turbulent / depressed mother it is still a task I'm polishing/ perfecting...but can truly say if you haven't had the experience of learning it yourself you can through John's work. Now I'm very different from my mum and have a happy marriage - however it does take work and this book provides a very good way of understanding your issues and believe there's few books with this approach to love which is definitely the way.If anyone wants to work on themselves, read the other books by John Bradshaw in the following order:1. John Bradshaw on the Family - to help you identify how your 'family system' (i.e dynamic between parents/siblings) creates the person you become / role you play / addictions created2. Homecoming - Championing the Inner Child - continues on the above, to help you understand the issues with the above family system and how to heal3. Create Love - great way to move forward after reading 1 + 2The above books help me continue to survive a nervous breakdown + intense FT job without any help as I finally had someone explaining my life and how/why I've suffered as an adult (i.e. by not getting proper parenting and still being an adult child at age 36!)JOHN BRADSHAW IS AMAZING - LOOK ON YOU TUBE FOR VIDEOS - RIP

Lots to learn from this book, especially if you have read The Family and other Bradshaw publications. Very informative and made me really ponder and evaluate a number of things. I will re-read Bradshaw's books many times.
