I was surprised by how limited the choices are for a reasonably priced gel pens with purple ink. I just received this Pentel pen and am now a Pentel fan! Firstly, the cost was very fair. Secondly, the pen's appearance is surprisingly stylish with a purple grip and metallic purple and blue on the rest of the pen. Thirdly, many purple pens are more lavender or lilac that actual purple but this pen did not disappoint. I'll be ordering more colors from this manufacturer!!

Love it!
Hands down the best pen I've ever used! Very smooth and precise. I like the .5 mm ball tip the most. You don't have to press down really hard to get a deep color with these. Plus, the ink dries quickly. These are my go to pens from now on.
