It saves a lot of time and switching the input for printer.

A standard USB 2.0 port can output up to 2.5W (5V * 500mA)A Mouse usually takes 0.1W to 0.4W (high end Wired Gaming Mouse with LEDs can take up to 0.7W)A Keyboard usually takes 0.5W to 1W (A fancy Mechanical Keyboard with Full backlight RGB can take up to 2.5W)This device cannot power 1 simple mouse and 1 basic keyboard connected to a simple USB hub. It needs an external powered USB hub for it.That means out of 2.5W only about 1W is available for devices.I cant believe they are charging Rs500 for such poor quality components.

I have a usb hub where all my web cam, Blue yeti microphone , Graphics monitor got connected and everytime I had to switch between my mac and pc manually by unplugging and plugging the hub.Now life is easy with this usb switch and it doesnt require any driver or power .. It will just work as mentioned. There is no lag when I try to switch.. most importantly My graphics monitor and stylus works perfect when I do digital art though the connection has established via the usb switch.So I dont need to comment on rest of the things like mouse,keyboard, usb mic and web cam as it is working as expected.When you frequently need to switch between two systems.. then this is for you and go for it.Just got it yesterday and will update the review later upon the usage.

This is a really flimsy product. Starting with the overall build quality- The case is made up of very thin piece of metal and it creaks if you apply even the tiniest of pressure on the casing.- The switch buttons are wobbly and is more like a hit or a miss where they might work at times and will outright give up on you on other times- The external USB ports at the read are also wobbly and feels they might go in if you apply even the slightest of pressure to plugin the deviceComing to the overall usability, great of the seller to include the printer USB cables but they are of not the greatest qualities.My unit stopped working after 27 days of purchase. Even when it was working, it would randomly stop detecting the device and I had to switch the input randomly to make it connect again.The product comes with 2 years of warranty which is by the seller and I have tried reaching out to them buy no one answers to the calls.In my personal opinion, it's better to spend some extra on a better build product than having to buy this first, seeing it give up on you after a month and then spending the same amount again on the better product.
