Q: What’s the point if you need 10 minutes to warm up the wipes? We need them at any point to do a nappy change and don’t usually have 10 minutes.

It is 10min to wipes warm up and if you keep it on, when you are going to use it will be already warmed.

Q: Does the warmer have to always stay plugged in to get a warm wiper because I turned it off after a while and realised the wipes were no longer warm?

Unfortunately yes, must be plugged into the power supply all the time.

Yes, you need to fill with water after some time.
