Fit my maglite mini AA

I knew the plastic lenses on my ancient maglite minis were shredded for awhile, but i didnt realize how bad it actually was til i swapped them out for 3 of these. The one that still has a xeon bulb actually looks like its on now. If youre using cut gels for light painting these will change your life just in the ammount of control you actually have over the beam and keeping the light focused where it belongs. The beam stays nice and tight instead of bleeding everywhere when you focus the light which is critical if youre doing light painting or spot lighting in a long exposure shot. The plastic almost diffuses the light cause it just bounces off all the small scratches that happen with normal use and back on the reflector around the bulb so the light ends up looking much more dull and spread out in a bad way. You can get the 3 pack or 2 pack if you have 1 light and just stack a cut gel between the 2 pieces of glass so that way it wont fall out and you can have any color light you want. Also works great with the one i changed out with a led. But its pretty vicious with a led (dont accidentally look into it)

Replaced all of my plastic lenses with these and they've been great. I'll keep buying these along side every one of my Mag Lite purchases.

I received this glass replacement window yesterday from China. The thin (~1 mm thick) glass window arrived in a small bubblewrap envelope mailer, inside of which was another sealed envelope wrapped in bubblewrap. Inside that was the window, wrapped in protective film which was wrapped inside another layer of closed cell protective foam. Even with my no nail, stubby, sausage-like fingers I had little trouble peeling the film off of the window. The window's OD fit the retaining ring of my Maglite securely with minimal slop. I was able to fully tighten the retaining ring and compress the o-ring to ensure a good seal.Once installed, I could barely even see the window it was so clear! I made the mistake of turning the flashlight (which I had retrofitted with an LED prior) on while staring at the output end. I had spots in my vision for a few minutes! No hazing or scatter could be seen in the window. The original plastic window had seen some wear over its several years of use. I hope this one will fare better as I continue to use this ultra convenient device. My only regret is not ordering two to replace the window in my second Mini!

Excellent replacement for the poor quality original lens. This one is sturdy, stays, and provides a good beam of light.

The difference between the original plastic lens and the upgrade glass lens is surprising. I did not anticipate the level of improvement. I immediately ordered two more.
