As a Pokemon lover it is amazing But these are some things you should know before buying: 1. It only has 120 something Pokemon 2. It does not give information about trainers 3. It gives a paragraph on each evolution of Pokemon 4. It does not talk about Pokemon cards 5. The colour of snorlax is different from orignal

My kids love this book. My 6 year old sleeps with it under her pillow. They bring it with them when watching Pokemon shows, and reference it during dinner discussions (our dinner conversations are very interesting :). They use it for inspiration when drawing their own Pokemon pictures and comics. I like that the Pokemon are listed by their number, not by alphabetical order as other books are, making it easier for kids to use. This book is perfect for those who are starting out watching the original Pokemon shows in the Kanto region, as it only includes the original 150 Pokemon.
