It's a great wide-angle lens and I'm glad that I can use it on my Sony A6500. However, I think that there is potential for improvement to make the perspective look even more natural when at 10 - 13 mm. Great lens though!

... as with all ultra wide lenses you need to compose your shots carefully otherwise you end up with photos with verticals falling towards or away from the camera, os making use of your cameras gyroscope/level indicator is a good idea. The lens is fairly compact with good build quality and is sharp so I’m very happy with it as an addition to my Sony mirrorless kit.

I have put off buying this lens for so long because of it's very high price. I bought it recently and it is fabulous. Amazing for video on my Sony A6400. Get this lens and also the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 for your low light needs. The only two lenses that you need for your Sony for video. Get the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 for your portraits and you are sorted and very happy.

I had read quite varied reviews about this lense, but really needed something wider than my 18-135. At 10-18mm this is great for landscapes and video work. I've not had it long, but it seems super-sharp for such an ultra-wide zoom and I'm looking forward to two things: landscapes/architectural shots and also seeing how creative I can be with such a wide lense in video mode.

Great little super-wide lens for my Sony a6000. Light in weight but solid and well made. Excellent performance - especially when stopped down a couple of notches. Obviously some drop-off in sharpness at the edges at 10mm, but you would expect that and it is well within acceptable boundaries. I was surprised how little linear distortion there is for such a wide lens. Love it.

I bought this lens after reading several reviews, some of which questioned the poor quality controls by Sony. In fact the first lens delivered by Amazon had very poor clarity in both automatic & manual focus modes.I contacted Amazon who immediately advised me to return the original & they replaced it with a much better one.I am very pleased with the performance of the new lens & the service of Amazon.

This is a very good lens - notwithstanding the limitations of any zoom lens, this offers good brightness across the focal range, very reasonable size and acceptable sharpness. Maybe overpriced for what it is (but all Sony lenses seem to suffer from that!), but its flexibility, portability and range make it a brilliant tool - particularly for landscape photography. I have noticed some focussing issues in low light, but apart from that it is difficult to fault.

Great quality wide angle lens to use with Sony a6400. Stunning landscape shots. Very happy with this purchase.
