Xelement 1440 Men's 'The Classic' Black Engineer Motorcycle Leather Boots (in Wide and Regular Width)

Very nice boots. I always wear size 13, but these run a little larger. Re-ordered size 12.

I am a big fan of the style of these boots (except for that ridiculous metal tag on the heel), and the price was more than reasonable. However, I did not listen to the other reviewers about the sizing. I wear a size 10 in every pair of shoes I own, but not in these boots. I needed to go down a whole step to a size 9. Seller was very responsive and easy to work with in returning the boots.

I ordered these with a bit of apprehension as I am big guy and I have very wide Fred Flintstone feet so I ordered the wide widthPros:Very nicely made, leather is nice, very well constructed and light weight. They are wider then most other manufacturers I have tried, I walked around in them for a while and they felt pretty good, say down and forgot I still had them on, pretty comfortableCons: I wish the boot shaft was a bit stiffer, they're almost like putting on leather socks, very floppy in that department. Other then that I give them a solid 4/5

I bought these boots in size 9 which is what I wear. It was way too big so I returned it and had a return shipping fee of about $7 deducted from what I paid. I ordered a size 8.5 and guess what? It is still too large and so I returned it again with a $7 shipping fee deducted from what I paid…I have gone with another brand of boot to ensure correct size fitting. If you order these boots, I recommend at least 2 sizes smaller than your current size and be prepared to spend some more money having it shipped back to them if it doesn’t fit…

Boot is well constructed, looks great, good leather, quality buckles and the sole is rough enough to prevent slipping yet not so rugged as to pick up stones and debris before going into an establishment.I ordered the boot via amazon. I chose size 10, however, I did not select a color as it only comes in black and amazon's website order defaulted to the size in the advertisement which was 9 1/2.I contacted LeatherUp who explained what happened and will replace the boots with a size 10 at no charge to me, however I had to pay shipping back to California which cost me an additional $16.28. Amazon's site should have refused my order if the color was that important to be filled out so the correct size would have been sent to LeatherUp. I think Amazon should be liable for the return shipping cost as I got no warning that the size I ordered would not be recognized.

I ordered a size 9 and i would say the boot was more close to a size 10 1/2 . Very nice boot, i've had these before, you cant try on first, and this is what happens buying on line.

Received these boots and was impressed immediately. Good construction, great look, and comfortable. Learning from past mistakes, I ordered a size larger than i normally wear and they were a little loose, but, a good pair of insoles should fix that. I'm pretty rough on boots and shoes but I know when I wear these out I will be ordering another pair. Can't beat them for the price. Best quality for the money I have seen.
