The fit is snug for the 2nd gen dot but it works well. I use it in the morning for getting-ready music. It's not high-end audio, but works well, a major upgrade for the dot. One of the things I like best is that it's instant-on. No need to turn on the speaker before talking to she whose name starts with "A." Volume is controlled by the dot's volume.

For the money you can't beat this product. My original one had a problem, but customer service took care of it and sent a new one. Great buy...

This product completely misses the mark in sound quality and function. When music is playing, the Alexa microphones can't hear you. The sound is completely Flat - no highs and no lows. If you have a gen 2 Dot - just spend the $30 and upgrade to the Gen 3. The sound of the 3rd Gen Dot is amazing compared to this product and Alexa will hear you. In my opinion, you should not use your money trying to make your 2nd Gen Dot better with this... Upgrade to 3rd Gen.

I have this hanging on the wall in my bathroom. I love it. Hands free while in the shower is what I was looking for. Good looks and sound quality were a nice surprise

I liked this speaker, this is actually the 2nd one I’ve purchased. It has decent sound, makes my echo dot sound way better when playing music on Alexa. It’s not heavy but not cheaply light either. Sometimes I move it around to different rooms. I keep mine plugged in all the time mostly but it stays charged for decent amount of time. Mine just sits flat on the end table but it comes with metal stand & wall mount, which I don’t use. Good price as well.

The speakers are very loud, very portable, and the way it holds the Dot is functional and effective. My only issue is when you have the volume up around 7+, then the mic has difficulty picking up the wake word to issue the Dot commands. Still, it's a great product for the price, and I would purchase another if I needed one.

Disappointed in the overall make up of this product. Don't know why but Alexa doesn't respond as usual and you must yell for her to hear you with this attachment. In fact my other Alexa at the back of the house hears me before this one does. Also the volume is an issue. The volume always starts as at a whisper so you must constantly increase the volume each time you connect. I miss my tall speaker that died after only 3 years. It was the best and I have 2 other in our other homes and they are still working strong.

Awesome dock for my Alexa will use it in my son's room looks good sounds good and has a nice presentation.
