Works perfectly, great machine!
This may be reconditioned but has worked perfectly for me. All I've ever owned has been the little curved-shaft machines and was going to buy another when I came across this reconditioned Husqvarna. I'm certainly glad I did. This thing is powerful and easy to use. It's heaver than the cheaper lightweight machines but well balanced and it doesn't tire my arm out as much as the old one did. Another thing I really like is the straight shaft. I've never had that before but the extra length is great for getting under shrubs and around objects to trim. I also like the clutch on the trimmer head, which means the head barely turns when idling, a good safety feature. I am having a little trouble with the bump line feed but that may be because I am still using the .080 line leftover from the old trimmer. The new machine came with a short length of heavy line which was soon used up and the bump feed worked fine with it so I don't think the problem is with the trimmer. And the lighter line cuts just fine so if I have it I'll use it up. Overall this is a great machine, don't be afraid because it's reconditioned. I went with this machine because I was so impressed with a Husqvarna chain saw that I had bought, they make great products. I would highly recommend this trimmer as well as other Husqvarna products.
