Great design, very quality, comfortable use, perfect size, good light levels, great value for money

the glass is what I needed and I am very pleased with it . Very well made , attractive piece of merchandise . as some others have said, it is heavy and for someone frail with weak wrists etc , this would not suit ,I am 89 yrs old but it is easy for me to use . very good magnifying and the LED lights are an excellent addition , 2 AA batteries which are not included but will last some time . an excellent buy and one happy customer , thank you

Excellent gift

Great magnifier and not cluttered with other magnification rates. Good illumination, makes it easy for me to read busy maps and small print. It is a bit hefty, but because of the real glass lens it is a good thing. Comfortable handle and changing batteries is easy.

first impressions.It does magnify. Although, maybe 30x is too extreme(This makes for small view that needs careful placement , images distort rapidly towards the outside of the glass).The light does work.The unit is fairly weighty. For me that's not such a big issue. My 90 year old mum though, may make me regret giving this to her.The battery compartment is super difficult to open and close. Either there's a technique or it requires using the ultimate positioning. All I know is my mum won't stand a chance. Where I usually do not experience any issues changing batteries... this was a little difficult to open, and closing was an almighty struggle. I literally spent forever trying to close it and then suddenly, with little effort, it just popped shut???

Just what I wanted and working well

Would rate 4 out of 5 ,you can see clearly while reading,in agreement with other customers ,heavy to hold ,,does have a nice feel/texture to item,not tried with the light on as of yet. Was very upset with the delivery company ,when delivered the delivery guy would not give me my package and went to take it away because I would not leave my door slightly open for him to take a photo as proof that the item was delivered I felt I had no choice ,I felt invaded and it not nessessary to take a photo with my door slightly open I cried. My heart is not feeling up to writing much of a review and due to my privacy invaded wish I never purchased the item

I got this for my dad who has recently been diagnosed with having a small cataract in one eye which is already affecting his reading, and he loves it!! It's changed how he reads, he's able to enjoy his reading and crossword puzzles again, the light is so bright and the magnification is huge, for my eyesight, the magnification is a little too large but for my dad it's perfect. It's very easy to hold, just like holding a traditional magnifying glass, the head is quite large so it magnifies a large area, it would have been brilliant if it had a stand or holder so you can be hands-free, but it works perfectly and more importantly it's now helped my dad find his love of reading and crosswords again. Brilliant product!!
