From the perspective of someone who is 50 (male), this product is very effective, it does notacibly improve my mental state and energiy levels within 5 minutes of taking it and the effects last a good 6 to 8 hours, with a healthy diet. I enjoy running as well and I believe this DHEA (Double Wood) is helping in healing my muscles and joints. Note to race runners, make sure you get your TUE filled out by a doctor before using this stuff or the USADA could ban you for a period of time, read online it happens even in master running. As far as dosage goes, I recommend putting half a tablet in a smoothie at first and see how you feel and see if you get any oily skin, acne or any other reported side effects. If you feel your body asking for more than 50mg, then 100mg may be right for you, but always follow up with a Hormone Profile test and/or Doctor test at least within 30 days after use or before you start. Just FYI online test from Quest are pretty cost effective. As far as quality goes, this is the purest Non GMO/Made in the USA product I could fine, with a test certificate. After a few days it seems work as it should. I take the supplement at night before bed to help me sleep better. I fell better the next day and helps with lowering my blood sugar. Note: my first shipment was poorly delivered and damaged. It was replaced and the product seems to work better than other bands use in the past. Will buy again.

I bought this brand because of reviews. I previously bought the GNC 100mg capsules and for whatever reason they discontinued that dosage. I tried numerous other, focusing on the micronized because of the bioavailability claims. I have used up all of the prior brands and am beginning to use the Doublewood now. The juries still out. Note, my blood work came back with a DHEA level of 1000 micrograms per deciliter recently. Although the range is 280-640 for men ages 20-29, science has shown that 750-1250 is best for homeostasis. I am 64 and have the strength of most 30 year old weightlifters, lots of energy, a lean body and clarity of thought. I will report back on my experience with Doublewood within 30 days.

I love this DHEA supplement. I have tried other brands. None have compared to the Double Woods brand. There are many benefits that I have seen and experienced since taking this supplement. Here are a few of my opinions. First. The caplets are small and light. Which makes them very easy to swallow. Second. For me, it helps me with my weight management. I'm a bigger guy. When I'm taking the DHEA, it helps me keep my weight off. Third. For me, I feel that the DHEA gives me energy. And fourth. Again, for me I feel that the DHEA helps with the bedroom activities. Not for E D, but other visual and production of certain aspects that some men like to feel and see. What the DHEA does for me may not be a typical result for other people, but it exceeds my expectations. I am extremely happy with Double Woods DHEA supplements. I will continue to purchase and take this supplement for as long as they continue to make them.

I started taking this supplement a few months ago after getting lab results with my DHEA level at around 69. I came back to get updated lab results and I’m up to a level of 133 just taking the supplement 3 times a week after my workouts. My workouts and sleep quality have improved. I definitely recommend.

My doctor recommended this to me for weight loss as it increases energy and I did see some good results in the first 2 weeks (I lost about 4.5 lbs.), but after that I started maintaining. When I paired it with 1500 mg/day of Ashwagandha I saw the best results. I lost 13 lbs. in 6 weeks. I wasn't a couch potato though. You'll only see results if you keep a decent diet (watch the sugar) and get some minimal exercise in, even if it's just walking around the neighborhood a few times a week. 45 minutes a day of accelerated heart rate is all we actually need to maintain a healthy life and to experience weight loss (per my doctor).
