The zipper pocket fit 4 pencils with eraser tops, 2 glue sticks and an eraser. I probably could have comfortably fit more things in this pocket but it wasn’t necessary for us. The bottom compartment fit a 24 pack colored pencils box, a 24 pack crayon box and a medium-large pair of pointed scissors. Again, if I had to add another small to medium object here, it probably would have fit. The flip pocket held 2 skinny highlighters, a pen, and 2 thick dry erase markers. I was able to zip up the pouch with ease and had no problems with the zipper getting stuck. Overall I think this is an excellent bag for school supplies! It fit everything my 5th grader needed, wasn’t too big and bulky but also wasn’t too small. It’s great quality and stylish. Much better quality and price than the school supply pouches at the grocery stores. I 100% recommend it and will update later in the school year if it doesn’t hold up well.

Let's just say it DID NOT (and I mean did not) disappoint. ❤️ MATERIAL 🧡 The pencil case is made of durable canvas and does not come with any tears or loose strings. It successfully holds my stuff and proves to be strong and sturdy. It does not falter when you pull on it! I advise you take good care of it in order to prevent pencil marks, though. CAPACITY 💛 Perhaps what I love most about the pencil case is the expandable bottom. I was putting several things in it: Markers/highlighters, a box of color pencils (pack of 8), mechanical pencils, scissors, pens, whiteboard markers, white out, earbuds, an eraser, glue, stickers, and post its (I know, it's a lot.) They all fit perfectly. I love the little mesh case for my scissors and the small space in the front for my post its. I also love how there is an alternative for those who are not using the expansion. Very versatile! ZIPPERS 💚 The zippers match with the design of the pencil case perfectly and work well. They do not get stuck/caught in the material and/or move slowly. They are made of a material that does not break off or get scratched. VISUALS 💙 The pencil case comes as advertised. There is a minor difference, but it does not affect the functionality of the pencil case. In the images, the little flag on the front says "SPECIAL," while on the product I received it says "EASTHILL." Like I said, this is minor. VERSATILITY 💜 This pencil case is very versatile. It's perfect for makeup, electronics, you name it! I personally think it works best with pencils/school supplies as a pencil case, though. Quick Take: This pouch easily fits all my daughters pens, highlighters, and extras like sticky notes and scissors without feeling cramped. What I Liked: Durable fabric, smooth zipper, and the compartments make it easy to stay organized. The color combo is fun but still professional. One Thing to Note: When completely full, it doesn’t stand upright and takes a bit more space in a backpack. i'll start off by saying that this pencil case is pretty good. i've used it daily for a full school year, so here's my take: THE GOOD: it holds a lot of pens and pencils and has a nice zipper pouch for lead replacement. you can keep your favorite/most used pencils in the flap thingy, and everything else below. a hi polymer eraser fits inside the bottom pouch perfectly. the colors compliment each other (i got the light blue one), and it's very aesthetically pleasing while getting the job done THE BAD: the mesh on the bottom of the flap is annoying. if you use pens or pencils with clips, it is completely useless. also, lead gets stuck in the mesh. the bottom area holds a lot, even zipped, BUT everything just feels a little squished. definitely don't try to fit a set of pens or pencils, it won't fit. i don't know what calculator they put in the case in the photo, but almost no calculator fits. I have a little tiny calculator from daiso in mine and it barely fits. THE UGLY: the pencil case looks stupid when it's unzipped. it looks huge, takes up a ton of space, and just isn't practical unless you are needing to carry a ton of art supplies with you. also, the tag on the front is so ugly. they all seem to have a little variation, but mine says "SPECIAL be young be unique". i guess i could've seam ripped it off. something was clearly lost in translation on it. not bad, but nothing special. really good for the price though

Color is lovely. The zipper is high quality. I use it to store double pointed needles for knitting and my needles fit very well in here. It is a fairly large pouch with plenty of storage pockets.

Perfect size and storage compartments. Very durable material. Can zip to keep compact or unzip to expand into a deeper style pencil case (my photo shows it unzipped full size). I love the inside mesh pocket, and the divider is great with the elastic bands to keep essentials easy to grab without digging through the deeper section. Perfect size for work or school. I work outside so this will be great to keep my stuff dry and clean. Pretty darker gray color looks nice! Can be used to store whatever you need, versatile, not just for pens. I recommend!
