From the inside, looks no different than looking through a screen; even provides some filtering for a window that gets direct intense sunlight. From the outside, clearly visible and no bird strikes since installing.

After 2 birdstrikes in one week last spring, I cobbled up a short term solution--bubble wrap-- until I foundthis product. I didn't want scattered butterflies or birds stuck on the windows, but the entire windownon-reflective, as this product provides.When it arrived, I was nervous about the application because I was afraid it would stick in a wrinkled mess on the window before I had it neatly in place. Very quickly I learned you can't use too much water on the window before applying/centering the collidescape, as the next step is to squeeze out the excess using a credit card. There's plenty of time to get it 'just right.' I ordered a second roll and will probably get a 3rd next spring so that every window on the house is covered. It does darken the view, somewhat like a black screen, so not a big deal. Though a bit expensive, my bird friends are worth every cent. Highly recommended.

For the most part, it seems to be working for the birds, but not for me. It blocks way more of my view than the description suggests. I also don't like that it's white on the exterior. It's an eye sore from the outside.

It rips so easily when you try to remove the backing. Does not matter how delicate you are. It’s just like a really flimsy sticker. Might work well for smaller pieces but for a large piece - good luck. After about the 5th or 6th huge tear it went right in the trash.

We purchased the 5-foot by 4-foot piece for a large dining area window that had claimed a few birds in the past. It definitely needed two people on ladders and we found that spraying both the window and the sheet as we went made it go on fairly easily. We used the squeegee a lot then finished wiping with clean dish towels. These photos were taken right after we finished. So far we love it. It has only been two days so we can’t guarantee it is keeping the birds away.

Though the scare tape worked last year, the robins adapted and it was ineffective to stop them from pecking at their reflections in our windows this year. The CollidEscape was easy to apply, blends in with the exterior, unlike scare tape, we can see out the window just fine and most of all...the birds immediately refrained from pecking. No more 5:30 AM wake up calls!

We had birds hitting our deck door every couple of days. Since putting this film on the door, we haven’t had a single bird strike. From inside, it just looks like there is a screen on the door. From outside, it also acts as a privacy screen because it’s hard to see in. Easy to put up!
