It lights up pretty good at night
My husband installed it. He said it was easy to install. The numbers are big, so thy are easy to see, and it lights up pretty good at night. Looks great

Looks and works as advertised
Packages arrives in suitable packaging. No issues there. It took me a while to find my four street numbers but they were all there. and plenty more.Numbers are a good size as described. I was half expecting them to be small and just look big on the listing. Nope. They are fine too. There were a couple challenges. First was is applying the numbers to the address plate without bubbles. I was 75% successful. I left a bubble in one number. I see it every time I look at it. No one else does until I tell them. The second was aligning the numbers so spacing was right. That went okay but was a little bit of effort. The LED lights are bright and after dark, the numbers are easy to see from the middle of the street, about 50' away. The LED lights stay illuminated all night. So far, the battery has not run out. The small solar cells on the sign get a short amount of direct sunlight every day. I think it will be more over the summer months. I'm pleased with how well it charges with indirect light as well as direct.During the day, you can see the numbers without issue as well.If you are looking for an illuminated budget street address sign, this has performed great for me.

Great sign, but consider placement
This is a very well made sign. The construction is sturdy. However, I had to return it because I didn't realize that the edging of my roof would limit the sun's contact with the solar panel and make it difficult to charge the light. I was able to notice this prior to installing it, so I can't comment on ease of installation. Instead I purchased a different model sign from the same company. The other one has an adjustable soar panel that can be move to whatever position needed for contact with sunlight. Other than the solar panel, since the signs are similar, I'd say the numbers and guide are easy to use. The one I kept has the lighting on the area where the numbers are which looks great and brightness of the lighted sign makes it easy to see the numbers at night. This one seems has light on top and shines onto the numbers, but still lit well enough. The signs are well made and good size, that the light probably isn't even needed, but is a great feature. If you purchase this model ( and want the lighted numbers) , make sure it will be placed where the sun will hit the solar panel because it is directly on top of the sign.

Very easy to read day or night.
I installed this a week ago. It is very readable both day and night. The battery is lasting all night; I was worried that it would not. So far good!I choose this one because of the large numerals, my city has a minimum size requirement for those.Applying the numbers was easy, the templates guide you very well. Just two suggestions on this: 1. The outer edges of the templates have square corners, but those on the frame are slightly rounded; thus the templates don't quite fit all the way in (they buckle slightly). This makes accurate placement harder. I fixed this by cutting 1/8" of the corners off the template so it would lie flat. And, 2. Hold the numbers by sticking something flat and a few inches long (like a butter or paring knife) to the back of the number; just a little bit at the edge. This lets you more easily see and adjust before you stick it down. The flatness lets you get close the mounting plate. I actually used 2 knives, on opposite sides in a kind-of diagonal manner. This also lets you stick it on bit by bit, instead of all at once (easier to remove and adjust, if necessary).Installing on the house was straight foward, but could be improved. The instructions are to drill two holes and certain distance apart. It would be better if they provided a paper template with the mounting holes marked. My sign is mounted on faux stone-a bit tricky, so I drilled one hole and then measured to the next one and drilled it. When you do this, be sure to use a level to get it straight.All-in-all a good sign at a reasonable price.

A very well made/designed solar house number sign.
The idea of a solar powered house number sign seems a good one. We chose this unit for looks, but found it also a well designed and easily installed unit that provides good residential identification, day or night, with no wiring requirement.

Worked great for 5 months
Bright white light made it easy to see my unit numbers at night. Needs direct light to fully charge, shade won't cut it. Failed to light up after 5 months so I purchased new batteries. Charged indoors. Opened unit to install and discovered the seal had failed and water had gotten into the unit. No corrosion so I cleaned and dried it out, and reassrmbled. Lit for less than 2 nights on new ones then failed to recharge.

Just PERFECT
These were EXACTLY what our little neighborhood needed! Within our tiny 3 house road (and our regular delivery people are no longer with us) Our packages kept showing up at each other's doorsteps. I bought 3... one for each of us! The numbers were perfect, they were black adhesive product- easy to peel and very sturdy. Using the guide frame, I attached numbers instantly and they were perfect. Tomorrow I will mount them onto our houses. I'm wondering how to replace batteries if I need to- but that can't be that hard. You get a LOT of numbers! We are all 3115, 3111 and 3112.... I was a little nervous that I didn't have enough- silly me.Be warned:: another reviewer said they didn't get the screws (should be included). That's correct. I only received 2 packs of screws to mount- but everyone should have screws laying around. It's not a big deal. For a $30 light up sign that works right out of the box, looks nice and makes us happy- these 3 signs are perfect. And yes. They are waterproof and sturdy, not cheap feeling at all. We live in a country setting. We felt bad for our delivery drivers and these make their job a lot easier!
