Weber Grill Brush Scrubber - Heavy Duty Grate Cleaner - With 3 Replaceable Pads

Last longer than other scrubbers I have tried.

I have recently heard of many issues with people having to have Stainless steel brush bristles surgically removed. While cleaning the grill, they break off, stick in your food unnoticed, and people end up swallowing them. My husband and I decided to find a different grill brush and came across this. I do have to say that I like this brush and it does work really well! (Note: use it on a cool grill, NOT a hot one!- duh!) The only issue I have is that the pads don't stick very well to the handle. It's not terribly bothersome, but the pad does fall off SOMETIMES when you pick up the handle. Still, a great option over the stainless steel brushes!

These are great, but a little pricey. Stopped using any type of wire brush after a radiologist Dr friend told me he had diagnosed 3-4 perforated bowels from patients who ingested wire bristles from grill cleanings. I'm sure they cost more due to the Weber name on the package, but everyone should stay away from wire bristle grill cleaners!

The scrubber removes the top and side most particulate from the grill surface quickly and effectively with little effort. I do use a grill cleaner with this product to get the grate down to its surface.

These are sturdy and will definitely be reusable but they don't clean the grill as well as I expected them to. These scrape some of the residue off the grill, but there's a good amount left on there. I think it's because of how rigid these are, which might change with more use. Either way, this is a better option than the metal bristle brushes.

This Scrubber works fairly well but is very similar to the Brinkmann BBQ Scrubber with Replacement Pad, Model 812-9237-S, UPC 0 39953 52709 8 that is readily available at big box stores at low cost. The Weber Scrubber uses a blanket of pin shaped projections to hold the pad and has a slightly different handle than the Brinkmann that uses a Velcro surface to hold the pad and has a handle that I find more comfortable.Both work better using Pads cut from Industrial Scotch-Bite 7447, Type A Very Fine, 61-5001-2323-9. If this is not available, either the Weber or the Brinkmann Scrubber are very useful and recommended, especially for Stainless Steel Rod Grates.

Hard to love an inanimate object but this works great. Just bought a new Weber Genesis grille and my buddy who is a grille fanatic told me I had to keep it clean. I figured that ain't going to happen but this scrubber makes it easy to keep the grates clean. Just don't tell the wife or she'll start wanting me to clean up around the house.
