Bass Players Beware.
For bass players, be aware that you have to purchase other apps to use this fully. Sound did not work out for me. I returned it.

Excellent product - buy it :-)
The A/D converter circuitry is very good. The sound quality is at least 96kHz 24 bit depth. This works great for playing through my Windows10 laptop. However, I have yet to get it to work with my Samsung Galaxy S5 with Samsung Pro Audio.I'm certain that it's simply due to something that I removed once upon a time on my phone, so really and truthfully, it's not the fault of the product. It's my own disability to fix my cell phone.I bought this to help me be able to play and practice without disturbing others. With my headphones plugged into my laptop, this has been achieved.

Do not buy - Rubbish design and faulty workmanship of cords
Faulty Micro USB connection and cord make this the worst decision ever given this part of the product is fundamental to it's operation! I'm left wiggling it around to see if somehow whatever wires inside align to allow sound to come through. Please contact me for a return, refund or repair.

Love it, but could love it even more!
I ordered the iRig HD-A to use it as my main effects "pedal". I love the quality of the sound. Very clean. There is absolutely ZERO latency! At least none that I can notice. There are 2 reasons I only give this 3 out of 5 stars. One is because the sound level when using the Fender Amp is not quite loud enough for me to hear myself on my stage monitor. I'm not sure if this is due to the iRig interface (with gain turned up all the way), or an issue with the cables I'm using (I've tried multiple 1/8" to 1/4" cables.) or something caused by the DI box I connect to (in order to connect to my church's sound system.)The second reason has more to do with the Amplitube LE App. After purchasing the $9.99 effects and Amp bundle (available to Samsung owners) I can no longer save or modify my presets. I spoke with IK Multimedia support team. They said it is a known issue and will be addressed in a soon to be released update. (This was 3 weeks ago.) For now, I get around this by assigning an effect to FX1, FX2, and FX3. This way at least I can quickly switch between effects but am limited to 3 effects blends. One bit of advice. When using this for live perfomances, don't forget to turn on Airplane mode. Otherwise those darn alerts will interrupt your output! :)

Does the job pretty well.
The device works great with my GalaxyS7. No lag and crisp clear sound. Works great with sound camp. The other irig models have a ton of feedback making it unusable. This one doesn't have that issue. If you are using a phone case (I have spigen), I highly recommend purchasing the otg adapter so you can you the phone case with the irig. Check compatibility.
Does not work with Galaxy S tab or Galaxy 5 active...even with Android 5.0 upgrades. I'd look into the IRig UA.
