Q: Hi will this card work with Windows 10 or be like most other cards that are not compatible?

This works with Windows 10, but will still not work correctly with Windows 11 (6 months after Windows 11 has been released). Avoid if you are running Windows 11.

Q: Will it work with my logitech z906 5.1 through optical output?

should do, no reason why it wont.

Q: If i use a corsiar hs50 pro with 32 ohms impedance, do i set the gain to low, medium or high? i am guessing low.

Depending on what you want, if you want it to sound clearer but softer Low but if it doesnt matter id recommend using medium :)

ASUS have addressed the Windows 11 issue merely by amending their FAQ. Twice since May now, each time pushing any chance of support back by several months. Latest update is that they expect a new driver in August (over a year after Windows 11, a mainstream OS, has been released). The current Win 10 driver sometimes works, but often suffers jumps and crackles indicating that it's not very happy. If you bought one before upgrading to Win 11, that's a year of no real warranty (that you've paid for).
