Fundamentals of Flight (FM 3-04.203) Paperback – November 30, 2012

As it says this is an Army Field Manual. I bought this in order to study for Army check rides in Army aircraft. It's basically a textbook. If you're wondering whether or not you should buy this then you probably don't need it. It has different information about aerodynamics, night vision considerations, and much more. That being said it is all purely informational. It wasn't written to be interesting or easy to read, it was written to convey information. If you still think you want to buy this but are not an Army aviator and you're unfamiliar with FM's I suggest going to http://www.apd.army.mil/ hit the publications drop down going to the doctrinal and training publications tab and then field manuals. Here you can find a complete list of every Army field manual including this one in PDF version. I bought the physical version because it is easier for me to study and flip through an actual book. This does have a glossy actual cover unlike most FM's that are 100% paper so that's nice.

Is what it is, paying money for a book that’s free to print off.
