THIS CRUSHER WAS THE BEST INVEST I MADE. IT CRUSHES THE PILLS VERY FINE ABD I HAVE NO TROUBLE TAKING THEM. IT IS SMALL AND COMPACT AND CAN BE TAKEN ON EXCURSIONS IT IS PERFECT FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS ARTHRITIS OR PROBLEMS WITH THEIR HSNDS ITY DOES ALL THE WORK AND I HAVE PUT AS MANY AS 6 PILLS IN IT AND CRUSHED THEM ALL. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS CRUSHER. SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE HAND HELD ONES THAT YOU HAVE TO TWIST. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE THOSE ANY MORE SFTER BEING SPOILED BY THIS CRUSHER. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND INVEST IN THIS PARTICULAR CRUSHER YOU WILL ENJOY IT AS MU H AS I DO. I WOULD HIGHLY URGE ANYONE WHO IS HESUITSNT ABOUT BUYING GO FOR IT!!!!!!!THE ONLY GRIPE I HAVE BOUT THIS IS THAT I THINK IYT COSTS A LITTLE TOO MUCH (BUT WORTH IT) AND DIDN'T COME WITH DIRECTIONS BUT AFTER WSTCHING A VIDEO ON LINE IT WAS AS EASY AS PIE. TO PLACE THE PILLS IN THE BLADES THE BUBBLE CAP SLIDES OFF (LIKE TAKING BATTERIES OUT OF CONTROLLERS) AND THE NEATEST THING IS ON THE BACK THERE IS ANOTHER BUBBLE CAP THAT SLIDES OFF AS WELL AND THERE ARE YOUR CRUSHED PILLS FEADY TO DUMP INTO YOUR GLASS OR FOOD BUT ANOTHER THING IS YOU CAN REMOVE THE BUBBLE CAP AND HOLD IT RIGHT OVER YOUR CUP FOOD OR EVEN DOG PILLS. I WOULD HIGHLY AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT ENJOY IT.

eNNOVEA Electric Pill Grinder does no crush/grind medications pills as fine as I needed it. I needed a fine powder/ smoothie form. Still worked ok.

Whoever describes this as a "pill grinder" ought to be shot. It won't grind more than onepill at a time--at most two--can't accept larger tablets, can't even cut through other tablets,and is, generally, a ripoff. If I could think of something for which itwould actually be useful I'd suggest it, but it isn't heavy enough to use as a fishing sinker, for example, or as a missile to throw at animal pests. It's worthless. And, to cap it off, when it doesactually work its way through a pill, the result is still chunks--too large to pass through alarge syringe for a stomach feed. It's not a "grinder", then. At best it's a crusher, but then you can do that yourself with a spoon and a dish. Have I said it's worthless? Here's what you should do: buy a mortar and pestle set (I bought mine from Target online). You can grind pills easily to a fine powder, and the cost was less than half this piece of. . . .stuff.

This is a good item. The only improvement would be to make the round cylinder on the inside should be made of a harder plastic that didn't deform as easily as it seems to when crushing hard tablets. Other than that, it does the job well.

the first problem with this item is it does grind up the pill but if you require a fine powder dont buy this it leaves the pills rocky about the size of a pin head so you will need a mortar and pesle to get it to a powder state but it does take that hard part away and second the button sticks you sometimes half to press it a few times to shut it off third there looks like a dial on the top to adjust how fine this item grinds the pill it is not it is to take the item apart for cleaning and last they do not include a screwdriver to take out the screw on the battery case

I absolutely love this pill crusher to death! This is a LIFE-SAVER. I take about 45 pills a day at thievery least and have to crush them all to put through my feeding tube, and I will never buy any other pill crusher other than this one! I would recommend this to anyone, and have told so many people about it! I couldn't be any happier with it! I love it! All the pain,strife, and time it takes to hand crush pills is just ridiculous especially when something like this is available! Such an amazing item! I've even shown nursing staff when I'm in the hospital and they're going to try to see if they can get them for all nurses to carry and have accessible to them!

This item arrived on time as promised brand new and neatly packaged. I am sorry to say that I don't have the 5 star rating I normally have with Amazon bought items. I put 3 sets of batteries in and the motor didn't go any faster with an older set then with a new set. I'm a little disappointed with this unit it looks better than it performs. I will keep it and use it a couple times to see if my attitude changes about the way it performs if not I will send it back for for refund.

We needed a grinder to crush nine one gram sodium pills every day for my mother. The manual grinder would not work on these pills. Although we did have to chop the pills up into smaller bits, once the pieces fit into the grinder, it did a great job of crushing them to powder so we could mix the pill with a drink. I bought two; one for my mother and one for me.Since I had an operation, I can no longer take pills in pill form, they must be crushed into powder or in liquid form. The grinder does a perfect job of crushing any pill I take to make it dissolve in liquid. I highly recommend it! Well worth the price.
