I used this for Mother’s Day to warm breakfast and it worked excellent.

Ease of use no no no

After getting it in I tested it with just water in the pans to see how hot it gets. A few reviews said didn't get hot enough. I can say after about 15 minutes on high the water got hot enough to produce steam. Which is plenty to keep things hot. It will come in handy keeping things warm or for parties and family functions.

I tried low setting but hardly any heat --didn't keep food warm. Had to crank it up to get much warming. Works if you turn it up quite a bit.

I used a warming tray for the first time this past Thanksgiving. I like a sit down family meal but found it difficult to keep the food hot. This product was perfect! It’s very versatile and you can use it in multiple ways by using the trays or just using the surface tray. At thanksgiving, I used the three trays to hold stuffing, sliced turkey and gravy. I used a separate crock pot to keep the mashed potatoes warm. I had 5 adults and two young children so this setup set up was perfect for our meal. At Christmas time, I put one of my own corningware containers on the warming tray surface to hold slices of prime rib. It kept everything at the perfect temperature. I had 16 adults so using the warming tray this way was very effective!I keep this product in the original box and it stores easily under my bed or in a closet. I highly recommend this as it’s very versatile and functional! Perfect product!

Love how this warms our food, and keeps , pancakes, bacon, eggs etc, woem until time to eat.

Sadly, I am 95% sure I am going to return this. I really wanted to love it but I’m just not there.First of all, I plugged it in and it takes quite a while to heat up. Even on for about 10 minutes (on high) I was able to run my hand across the surface. I didn’t leave my hand in one spot long enough to see how hot the temp got but it certainly did not feel HOT to me.Next, the dial is a bit wonky. The temp settings don’t seem to line up with the control. The perimeter (at least an inch) did not get warm. On my unit that reduces the heated surface area quite a bit.Thirdly, while questioning my purchase, I started reading reviews. My particular unit does not have vent slats on the sides like the picture shows. That makes me nervous, especially reading the one star reviews where unit exploded sending glass flying. My purchase was made to be used this weekend for an outdoor Super Bowl/pool party and I certainly don’t want glass flying anywhere and especially at a crowded party near my friend’s pool area.
