Excellent tool for model and miniature builders
I've had a shorter version of this mitre box for years now. It's so valuable, it's used on every model I build. This new longer version makes this tool even more valuable. Use this with a JLC Razor Saw or similar extremely thin kerf (0.006in, 0.16mm) blade.BTW, this has the /standard/ mitre box angles, 90, 60, and 45.

Great for Crafting for Miniatures
Bought this for cutting basswood, balsawood, and similar materials. Need to use an ultrathin saw with it.

Sturdy and perfectly small
This little mitre box is perfect for small details and duplication of thin and/or long pieces for your projects. It's solid aluminum and has a stop with a little bolt to secure it to the mitre. It makes detail and trim cutting a breeze. It arrived quickly with no problems and it is definitely the only one I'll ever have to buy (unless I lose it), so worth the price too.

No 30 degree slot
This product is described as allowing 30, 45 and 90 degree miter cuts. It actually allows 45, 60 and 90 degree miter cuts. I bought a 10/10,000 x-acto saw blade to use with this but even that is far too thick to get within the miter slots. I had intended to cut 1/4" square dowel but the miter box isn't tall enough to cut that thickness accurately.

Will Not Work
This combination of blade and miter box will not work. The blade is way too thick for the miter box or the slots in the miter box are way too thin for the blade, in any event, this particular combination of blade and miter box will not function properly. A complaint was made to Micromark to no avail, it was just ignored.If the user can find a thinner blade then this setup will probably work just fine.
