Q: Is the back of this material wadding and then lined, or just quilted fabric and wadding? Thanks

There is a wadding back but you will need to line it yourself to stop the wadding 'shredding'. I used the material to make a coat for my elderly dog and it works a treat - keeps the dog dry and warm and saves me washing loads of towels after he comes in from a walk!!

Q: Would this fabric be suitable as a reverse side of a crocheted blanket?

Probably not, It is waterproof and has a slight waterproof feel to it. and a light padding. It is a superb material, we are impressed and a major us is for our dogs bed and lining the boot of our car as it is almost wipe clean.
