High Quality
This is a very clear UV lens and adds no discernable distortion in my test shots. I understand it is a Platinum model, but I would still prefer a black frame on the filter. The Platinum stands out on my black a grey L series lenses, which I'd rather it didn't. I've not experienced any reflective issues off of the frame in any test shots.

High-Quality Lens protection Filter
There are a lot of filters on the market ranging from $7 to $80. After extensive research I selected the Tiffen 52MM and 58MM Digital HT Ultra Clear Titanium Filters as my choice for my new Nikon 18-55 mm and 55-300 mm VR DX lens to go with my Nikon D3200 camera. My question for deciding was, "Why would I put a cheap protection filter on $200.00 and $400.00 lens? If it's there to protect the zoom lens, then it needs to be sturdy and not block any light (practically) or add distortion to the image going through the lens. My answer is, "Anything less than the best ultr-clear and durable filter would be foolish." Therefore, I chose this filter. Fits perfectly, the lens cap goes on perfectly and doesn't interfere with the lens hood. If I want to add other filters, they will fit perfectly as well. The Adorama supplier price was the same as that through Amazon.com and I prefer to use Amazon.com because I can keep a good online record of purchases. Amazon.com/Adorama shipped the filter promptly. Very please with this purchase.

Great product reasonable price
First a brief disclosure. I am not a professional photographer, but I own a few filters I have bought throughout the time. This filter UV 77mm Digital HT has proven to be a great purchase. The quality of my pictures has not been impacted at all regardless of the light conditions. Even when taking pictures where the composition includes the sun, this filter is not adding any glare to the one that the lens (Nikon 24-120 f4 and Nikon 80-400 f4.5-5.6D ED) already produces (again) personal observation based on limited non technical testing I have done. I highly recommend this filter.

Protects lens and adds a bit of a retro look to the Nikon 24-70 2.8 s lens On the Nikon Zf
I sometimes like to use no lens hood when I’m doing walk around or travel photography. I got this to protect the lens, and as a bonus the silver color kind of helps give my 24-70 2.8s a more retro look to match my Nikon zf

So far really good for the price
Returned the shaky, dusty $16 "Tiffen 82UVP Slim 82mm UV Protection Filter for Camera Lens" and bought this instead. The quality is so much better. the glass doesn't shake in the frame. It seems solid. It came in a nylon pouch, wrapped in fiber cloth that left a few dust dots which were easy to blow off. The filter set in and turned easily in my Nikkor 24mm-70mm lens, unlike the gritty first filter. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I still haven't gone into daylight to shoot photos to test clarity. Maybe it will be a 5-star (or could be reduced...but the fitting and integrity seem nice.)

Looks and Feels Great
The filter is pretty weighty and feels really nice in the hand. It’s very clear and when shining a light onto it you can see the light source’s color changes signifying the existence of a coating on the lens. The lens is easy to clean when using a quality microfiber cloth. Smudges and dust simply wipe off with ease. Also this filter doesn’t have the problem of where dust would accumulate on outer edges of the glass. Where the dust is difficult to get rid of. I have this problem with a few of my Breakthrough Photography filters and am glad this doesn’t happen to this filter.

Tiffin is the Bomb on my Mirrorless Cameras
I have tried a lot of UV and ND filters for my Canon mirrorless lenses. I even bought an expensive system that used magnet attachments. I had problems with all of them except the Tiffin filters. I do not have hot spots with these filters even in the direct sun of the Southwest. They also work well when glare is present such as with water shots. I do not think for the money you can get a better filter. My colors also remain consistent and true to shooting without a filter.

This is a very nice filter. I just don't like the silver metallic finish because it is too conspicuous for street photography. I can't fault them for quality of the photographic performance but I would not have purchased this if I had been aware of the metallic finish on the filter.
