Solid piece of kit. Mostly metal, very solid construction. Smooth operation. Feels great works great. The only thing I would adjust is the diameter of the press, it leaves a weird indent in the cork. Obligatory mead shot.

Every now and then we open a bottle of full-bodied red wine, but no one wants to finish it during that setting. With this, we're able to get a nice seal on the cork, and the red wine will be still good months later. Totally worth the $25.

I don't know why people are talking about with the difficulties corking their bottles. It is pretty effortless, you just have to do it in a swift and dedicated motion. The build quality is great. I am not sure I could break it unless I really intended on doing so. I have already bottled over 100 bottles of mead with this and it still works the same as the first day. It is a great value. Only down side is they forgot my corks. I am not sure if this was from the factory or Amazon packaging it. I mean no big deal as they were not the most expensive thing. It is pretty big. The picture in comparison to the cork size is accurate.

Works well. I was nervous at first as I've never corked a bottle and was worried it'd explode. However the instructions were easy to follow and easy to do. I'm not sure how far it's supposed to go in, but the cork gets pushed in about an 1/8th inch below the lip of bottle.

I bought this corker for $21 in June of 2022. I ended up buying a floor corker for $70 in December 2022. The hand corker did not consistently install the corks flush with the wine bottle top. Usually a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of cork protruded out the bottle top. And it takes pretty good pressure on the two levers to put a cork in. Then I had a wine bottle shatter while installing a cork, I feel lucky to not have sliced some fingers. So then I bought the floor corker. It is far better in every way and well worth the cost. Easy to use and with consistent results. And much safer! The hand corker has decent reviews, most likely due to the low cost. But several other reviewers like me say to get a floor corker instead. So my strong suggestion is to just pay the extra for the floor corker!
