After a series of satin bonnets, I decided to upgrade to silk. This is my first silk purchase, and I find it disappointing. The first problem I had with it is slightly my fault. I understood that I'd have to tie the cap. But coming off of elastic satin bonnets, I didn't realize how tedious I'd find it. If I had put in a little more forethought to this, I could have caught that. What I couldn't have caught was how rough the inside of this thing is! When I got it, I started to doubt the wisdom of using the rough side on my hair. My SATIN bonnet is softer on both sides. So, I wore it inside out (I was never going to wear this to look presentable, LILYSILK, what does it matter if the outside is shiny??) But then at friction against my SATIN pillowcase made it feel awkward to move my head around. I will now most certainly NEVER wear it shiny-side-out. I'm debating returning it, giving it away, or keeping it as a backup. I know this won't be my only purchase from the brand, but if you're looking for easy coverage all around or comfortable design to sleep in, skip this design specifically.

Is single layer. I wear it inside out so the softest, smoothest side is next to my hair, hence the reason I’m wearing a cap. (It does not look bad inside out) Love how adjustable the ties make it. Can’t say enough about how comfortable it is to sleep in. My hair is looking better with just one weeks use. I am happy with my purchase.

I have fine, straight hair and I’ve always washed and dried it every morning to get rid of oily disheveled appearance it got after a night of sleeping on it. I’ve been trying to cut back on the daily hair washes, so I tried sleeping in the LilySilk bonnet. It absolutely works! Most of the time, my hair doesn’t require me to touch it up with a blowdryer in the morning! Great results!

My waves and curls stay shiny and styled for days. No frizz and no static on hair. How did I ever live without this. The bonnet stays in place all night.

After using the camp for months I have noticeable hair loss at the bak. Then I realise the tightening. my hair has been since I switch to a hair scarf instead of a cap.

It definitely is a good purchase if this item is something you look for with your hair type. It was really good for protecting my hair at night when I put masks in and don’t want it all over my pillow. I got white and it’s very cute and works well

The bonnet is easy to put on & the silk ties customize the fit. I don’t feel the ties when I sleep on my back or my side. The bonnet has helped me to avoid frizzy hair, which happens when I sleep without it. The silk is a nice quality.

I really like this sleep bonnet. No more waking up with tangles (rats nests) in my hair, which reduces hair loss too.I turn it inside out, so the smoothest side touches my hair. I also found that if I tie it under my chin, that it does not fall off during the night.I have shoulder length hair, and I put it up on top of my head in a scrunchie at night, and then put this sleep cap on . Its nice and cool. It does not make my head hot. The next morning, just brush, and my hair is fluffy and silky, ready for the day.I hand wash with Woolite. I've purchased two, so I have one to wear while the other is in the wash.I highly recommend this product to reduce wear and tear on your hair. Hair remains silky, the next morning.PS: I should add, that I always use a silk pillow case too. When I have to sleep on a cotton pillow case, the cap falls off due to the friction with cotton pillow case.But when I sleep on a silk pillow case, the silk case and silk bonnet work beautifully together. The cap never falls off. I hope this helps.

It’s waste of $40.00, instead just use any silk scarf Lying around to wrap on head. It’s flimsy and nothing luxurious about it.
