Q: Is there a way to get this to work with ps4 dualshock headphone jack as a gaming headset?

Won’t work on my original PS4, my PS4 slim, or my PS4 pro. It doesn’t work on any of my 10 controllers either. Works fine on my iPhone and the clicking of the buttons are picked up by the PS4, but the mic won’t relay audio. I’ve tried switching the mic from “i” to “A” as well.

I have done it many times over the last 10 years.

Q: How's the sound quality on the microphone? is there another recommended mmcx cable with a better microphone?

I have the cable and I used a voice recorder on my phone. The mic sucks, and Im.going to check out the BT $100 cable to see if the mic on there is better. Basically, mic makes you sound all 'tin' like, and it picks up the noise around you, makes it sound like your at a construction site.

I Now Have The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Because I Now Use Hearing Aids, I Went With The High End Sony Head Set.. SONY HMC 004 I Certainly Miss The Shure Products, That Gave The Best Sound Quality of Any Earbuds Over The Last 20yrs.. Respectfully, E. Patrick
