Forget the rest...this IS the best!!!
This glitter is amazing...I have used many brands but this one is the best and beats the rest! It says what it does on the packet! I didnt even need to buff it after either. The effect is stunning!! I wouldn't buy any other brand now.. buy it and you won't be disappointed. Very easy to use and first class results.

Blitz bathroom
Can you get away with this in your bathroom paint? The answer is hell yes, it just depends on the paint. After reading several reviews and from my own previous experience with this glitter I was a little unsure but needed answers I couldn't find anywhere here so I decided to experiment myself. I had used this glitter with Johnson white bathroom paint 1ltr and put about half a pack in while I could see some glitter it did not shine through the way I had hoped and created an odd blotchy texture. After reading paint glitter works best in water based paints and after experiencing mishaps with another brand of silver glitter in Matt paint I decided to take my chance. Popped off to one of my favourite shops and bought Wilko's cosy grey bathroom paint mid-sheen which just so happens to be water based. I'll be honest, I may have cheated somewhat. I bought another brand of glitter which was silver and the flakes are slightly larger. These flakes almost look like eyeshadow powder in the packet it's very fine and defined. I poured the whole 150g of the silver glitter (which I actually cannot see as much but is still there at a certain angle) into the 2.5 litre bucket of paint and mixed it in whilst listening to Zumba music for about 5 minutes then I poured roughly 120g of this hologram glitter into the paint and mixed, mixed, mixed using a hanger which was closest to hand for a further maybe 3 minutes until it all looked pretty balanced. I poured it in my poundshop bought mini roller set as I didn't feel like overspending for a small job and put some on the roller. I tried hard not to roll over the same spot more then twice to avoid covering the glitter and making it patchy. In the video is the first coat only and does not do this enough justice. The whole entire wall was so sparkly I actually love it. I've done a second coat for safe measures and will give it a buffing tomorrow but this is by far my favourite wall in the whole house now and goes really nice with some tile stickers I got from amazon with similar shimmer. Tips: 1. Prior to putting glitter in the paint do two coats of the paint colour for coverage . I feel like this helped bring out the glitter. My living room has silver glitter with Matt paint but came out patchy. My bathroom with this game glitter just didn't allow much glitter to come through even with a good dose of buffing. 2. You can use it in bathroom paint just make sure it's water based and not a one coat type of paint. I think if it's too think the glitter won't shine through as well as this did. 3. The more the merrier, pile on the glitter into that pot and mix it all up. I ended up adding about 130g of this glitter with 150g of another silver glitter into about 2 LTRs of paint and the result were glittacular ;) Hope this review has been useful I'm off to buy more and see what other paints this glitter can work in. P.S. I knocked a star off as it doesn't work in every paint as I previously had a bad experienced.

gorgeous
I love this. I was suspicious at first and was nervous about how it would look when it was dry but I shouldn't have worried. It was easy to mix in, you have to be thorough and careful as it is very fine and light and can get everywhere. When I had finished I was delighted. In candlelight it looks like the night sky with millions of stars. Beautiful. I

Absolutely amazing!
If I could give it more stars I would! So I brought this to try it out, absolutely amazing! I added it straight into my mint paint 2.5l gave it a good stir, no issues at all! Rolled it onto the wall waisted for it to dry and then buffed it down with the pads. It’s so beautiful when the sun catches the wall!! Great value for money and just adds an extra sparkle to the house

Beautiful!
Stunning! Forget glitter sprays and paint with glitter, neither really work well. This is added to clear varnish and it looks amazing.

Cautious where you want to use
It does what its meant to? Sparkle ✨️ I got this to redo my built in fridge section and units. I had already done a dark matt grey with glitter 14yrs ago so touching it up. This sparkle though is not for areas where you may need to wipe down, traffic areas, sticky fingers etc/walls. Every time you wipe it it creates extra sparkle thus ruining the look of the area making it too heavy/glittery, so cant really be cleaned down. If your after a subtle sparkle bare this in mind. I had no issue with the one I got from bnq last time and scrubbing/wiping did not alter or over enhance the effect already created. Great for ceilings or untouched areas Just putting that out there as I'm back to painting over it

It’s really hard to take a photo of it on the wall but I cannot stress enough how beautiful this wall is in real life! I will definitely be using it again and recommending it to everyone! I did 2 bags in about 3/4 a gallon of paint and the effect is not quite a full glitter walk but it is VERY sparkly. It’s gives the wall a little bit of texture and brightens it up quite a bit. Before we buffed it out it had more texture and a light shimmer. Buffing was hard, the paint we used was satin finish I imagine it would be easier with a less durable paint. I am tempted to take some fine sandpaper to it to see if I can get more sparkles. Using it was very easy, I mixed it with a drill and an attachment I got at the hardware store. It took about 5 minutes to mix up fully. I made sure to mix it often in the can. It went on fairly even. In the few spots there is more I just didn’t buff as much. I did a base coat without glitter then 2 glitter coast and this seemed to provide enough coverage. Through all of the buffing the glitter is stayed on, it doesn’t come off on my hands or the pads. Even my glitter hating husband admits it look very nice.
