Plushible Hand Casting Kit - 3D Creative Plaster Powder Hand Casting Kit

Bought it a while ago just had time to finally use it. I used this to sculpture my 98 year old dad and his 6 year old great grand daughter holding hands. Unbelievable! This product is fantastic. Easy to use and you don't need to rush. You can't dilly dally but its great to work with. I used a little olive oil on their hands first and it made it super easy to remove their hands from the bucket. This product is literally very clean and easy to work with. Would definitely buy again!

My daughter got this for an art project for college. This was super easy to use and work beautifully.I suggest mixing by hand for a few stirs, then a hand mixer briefly (this adds small air bubbles but mixes it better than by hand), then finish by mixing by hand. If you use cool water you will have a longer set time, but this gives you time to make sure it is mixed well. Use some baby oil to coat your hand or object before submerging in the casting material, this will make getting out of the mold easier. When pouring the plaster, rotate the mold to make sure the plaster fills all the holes, then tap well (with the lid on so the plaster doesn't slosh out).

I was absolutely dissatisfied with my purchased, more like livid and disappointed. Nearly $50 gone down the drain. I had been anticipating doing this with my long term girlfriend. We finally received this purchase and was so excited to do it. We set up all of the ingredients and used the correct measurements however, with the very vague and non-informative instructions we did not get to do our hand molding due to the mold solidifying in less than a minute. No where in the instructions did it mention that the mold would solidify in a matter of seconds nor did it mention that it would require us to immediately submerge our hands into it after mixing was complete. Quite frankly there was nothing about timing in the instructions at all. Also, the ingredient names printed in the instructions DID NOT match the same ingredient names on the packages. My advice? Save yourself the hassle and avoid purchasing or if you choose to purchase don’t allow any time to go by between each step!

In hindsight, all the photos of this product show closed hands. I tried casting with an open hand and, despite cautious handling, all the fingers fell off as I was removing the mold material. An expensive and disappointing result!

This product did not come with clear instructions. I believe that our casting would have turned out better with more detailed instructions.

Use a mixer! Went to mix the mold powder and it started to solidify before I could get the clumps gone. Had to order a new pack.

It was a gift she tried to mix it it didnt mix so she put it in my 300.00 mixer and it didnt mixNever buy this not every home has a drill with a cement mier attachment

Did with my mom! Turned out great! Aot of fun for us both!
