Less for more
Tiny drop of blood needed for the test strip. If using on your One Touch meter adjust the test strip number on the meter for accurate reading. Get more test strips than the from One Toush.

Totally inaccurate and useless
TL;DR: Skip this, these strips are completely inaccurate and not consistently so. In other words totally useless.I've been using a OneTouch Ultra 2 for several years. So when I first got these strips, I did daily reads with both a True Point strip and an original strip. I carefully changed the calibration code prior to changing the strip. I also checked online to make sure it was OK to change codes back and forth. Everything I found online says changing calibration code is not an issue but, more than, True Point doesn't say anything about this and my original strips were producing normal consistent results. Not a true control setup but good enough for the old eyeball. The True Point strips were always between 11 to 28 points lower than what the original strip was giving me. The worst part though is the True Point strip results were all over the place. If it was at least consistently, say always 20 points lower, then at least they would still be usable.Even testing True Point strip, then original strip, then True Point strip, then original strip back to back, with no unnecessary pause between, and on the same side of the same finger, my original strip was within 2-3 points of its prior result but the True Point strips were all over the place. I did this test on 3 days: first time the True Point strips were 12 points different, second time 7 points different, the third 4 points different. However, these are comparing the True Point strip to the original. I’m writing this review now because my personal nurse came by a few days ago to get my routine blood draw for testing. A few minutes prior to the blood draw, I tested with both the original strip and the True Point. My results were original strip 128 and True Point Strip 119. I got my FBS result from the blood draw yesterday and it was 133. I mean no one gets full marks here but the True Points strip was off by an unacceptable margin. As an aside, this was my last ditch attempt to keep this meter. When LifeScan introduced those ridiculously overpriced “Blue” strips I stockpiled the older strips, but now I am on the last 3 containers of the original strips. I bought these True Point strips to see if this meter was still viable and, clearly, they do not work. So I am done with LifeScan and will be buying a new meter shortly.LifeScan is on my blacklist for life. So is True Point, I can’t believe this kind of inaccurate product is allowed to be sold in a medical context in the US.
