It's rare I feel this enthusiastic about a purchase, but these little spotlights really made a big impact on my basement bar setup. They are bright (at full setting) and create a nice, tight spotlight that was perfect for highlighting my dart board and my poker table, separately. They also look very professional mounted as they are on the ceiling. The remote works perfectly, and lets me control just a single light, if I point the remote directly at it, or both lights at once if I aim more generally to the center of the room. The remote doesn't just let me turn the lights on and off, I can control the brightness and set an off timer as well. Installation was simple. The pack includes screws and velcro, either of which allows you to remove the light assembly when necessary to change batteries. With the screws in place, you twist the housing away from the base that is attached to the ceiling. With the velcro, you just pull the whole light free, base and all. I chose velcro, and it was literally a case of position, peel, and stick.The effect on the mood of my room is dramatic. Having dedicated spotlights for the dart board and poker table allow me to keep the "mood lighting" of just a lamp over the bar and another lamp in another part of the room, rather than having to turn on the completely bland overhead flourescent lights whenver we want to throw darts or play a game at the table. It has really opened my mind to the possibilities to accent decor in other parts of the house as well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Lights up great. Looks amazing and definitely adds class. Only thing is they drain batteries.

The only con is the remote doesn’t work for these from a distance, you must place the remote within 1-2 feet from light to work. Kind of cheap. But! They LOOK GREAT!

The only thing I would change on this light is, it would be nice if it was like a lot of battery operated lights that I have that when you turn it on, it will stay on for X amount of hours which you can get with the remote, but when it shuts off, it remembers when you turned it on, and it’ll automatically turn it on the next day. It is made very well. The battery life depends on how often you get to use it and I have not noticed any real heat off of the light.

Great portable uplight or spot to light just about any dark corner, shelf or tree. Comes with a remote and is easy to use and easy to place anywhere you need it. The down sides are when you actually use them. The remote has an on/off and a dimmer, but if you set the timer, the max time is 2 hours and you must manually turn it on again after that, even the next day. I was hoping for a timer much like flameless candles that you can set a 4 hour timer and it will come on every day at the same time for 4 hours. So, it works great and looks great on, but you will have to turn them on/off every day. Good luck!

I bought these to illuminate my electronic dartboard. I wanted to be able to mount a light(s) on the ceiling without installing an outlet or needing to reach them to turn them on and off. These lights covered all of those needs so only the amount of light was an unknown. The lights mount so fast that is almost comical! You install the base (which is already off from putting in the batteries), by driving in 2 screws, or apply an included velcro patch, and snap the light to it. Done. I press the power switch on the remote and both lights pop on. I aimed them at the dartboard and smiled. The lights' brightness is just enough to illuminate the board more than the other LED shop lights around it. With the other lights off I can play darts using just these 2 lights. If you need an accent-level light for dartboards, paintings, photos, displays, etc. these are all you'll need. Simple, convenient and effective!

Excellent for plants. Look expensive and elegant.

I love the idea of this product however I wish that it acted like the battery powered Christmas lights that automatically stay on 8 hours and come on at the same time everyday. These are NOT like that which I already knew, but I thought the remote would be fine. I was wrong. You have to get super close, within 2 feet, for the remote to turn it on. And if the pot is in the way, forget it. It makes the remote useless, I may as well push the button since I have to get so close for it to work.Gives off a good amount of light. I recommend if you don't mind turning it on and off manually. Also, the base is so large, I thought I would be able to hide it under some moss or dirt from my plant, but the sensor is on the base, so no way to conceal it. I will be returning.
