The nut that pinches the o ring was to large to tighten while on the carbs but some teflon tape was a quick hack.

I ordered a set of these after a friends recommendation. I'm glad I did. The are the best way I've found yet to access recessed the carb manifold vacuum ports on one of my bikes. There are two of each length in the package which is great. I modified one of the longer ones by adding a drilled out coupling nut about an inch down from the end. It is secured with high strength lock-tite and set with peens. The port end nut was secured with low strength lock-tite. It's much easier to install/remove by hand with the coupler nut and lock-titing the port end nut means it won't accidentally come loose. I'd recommend these.
