This can opener is an exceptional tool that has exceeded my expectations. Its compact size is a huge plus, especially for someone like me who appreciates kitchen tools that don't take up much space. Despite it being small, it is still easy to twist. It latches on smoothly, and the twist mechanism is a breeze, requiring minimal effort. Additionally, the grip is comfortable and secure, which is greatly appreciated when dealing with tougher cans. I rate this can opener a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Although I give this can opener 4 stars instead of 5, the concept and functionality of the can opener work beautifully. It is sharp, safe and always cuts a can open cleanly. However, there are 2 problems with how it works. One, when a can has a paper label, the opener causes a string of cut label that could potentially get into the food when opening. And two, cans are thinner than they used to be and I have yet to have a can not spill out some liquid towards the end of opening the can using this opener. The force needed causes the thin can to buckle a little causing spillage. Not a problem if you open a can in or near the sink. But having said that, I do love this can opener.

DO NOT GET THIS!! I saw an online cook using it and I liked how compact it was so I got it. Well, it cuts the lid from the side which seemed ok until you realize that cans are thin and the structural integrity of the can is where the two rigid ends are. Cut one partially and the lid moves away from the can so it is no longer a cylinder. If the can has liquid in it, you are now compressing the sides of the can and the juice squeezes out. I am going back to my old faithful “Swing-away”. Wish they would return this but I have been fighting with it for too long at this point.

The product worked well—for about 45 days, it was awesome. Loved the small design and easy action. After that, it stopped attaching to the can, making it completely unusable. Since it was past Amazon’s 30-day return window, I contacted the seller directly. They claimed to offer a 1-year return/exchange policy, but instead of helping, they told me to deal with Amazon myself. Amazon, in turn, pointed me back to the seller, saying they couldn’t assist beyond the 30 days. All I asked for was a simple $12 replacement. Instead of resolving the issue quickly, the seller made things unnecessarily difficult—and ultimately didn’t send a replacement at all. Buy with caution. If you only need it to work for 45 days, go for it. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

These things are great. Unfortunately they are not for industrial use, and they can be a bit fussy to use depending on the type of can being opened. I have two of them and they are my go-to choice. I recommend them to anyone who is willing to deal with their fussy quirks.

I have been struggling with the old fashioned can openers that can be tricky to use and metallic bits sometimes drop into the food. Plus they get rusty which isn’t a desirable in a product that gets near food. I bought this one as it had good reviews. It’s very quick and easy to use and the lid comes off clean. I am so happy with this product. Very easy and safe to use. The cut is surprisingly clean but not sharp at all. I was so tired of all the can openers that didn't do anything but a dangerous mess, so finding this was a great surprise. Highly recommend.
